I think it was actually N17.4m as we refunded about N1.1m from the original N18.5m paid. This is because of roof cost difference as we couldn't get the preferred roofing brand my clients paid me for. We have to settle for another brand.

I can tell you what we would charge.

Labor 26.3 hours N131,500 (see highlighted part for why in the diagram below)

CAVEATS:
Before any of that is done though, diagnosis would be done to confirm.

If the car has less than 100k miles on it, means it has excessive wear and may not be worth it to do. You shouldn't need a valve seals job on a low mileage engine. If that's the case you are better off just riding it till it dies.

Thanks for the clarifications. It is a high mileage car. Will it be better to replace the engine entirely?

Sounds like valve seals. When parked, leaks into compression chamber then Burns off in the morning.

Please I just got this 2008 highlander limited. At first start in the morning, it produces heavy grey smoke and water from the exhaust, but in the course of driving it clears up. I put my finger in the exhaust pipe and it comes out painted with heavy black powder and water and smells like something burnt. There is no oil leak, shortage or check engine light. What could be the cause of this thick grey/blue smoke and water from exhaust in the mornings particularly? Thanks.

Go for the avalon..... Many of the standard gadgets on the Avalon came as optional on the Lexus and you might not be lucky to get a lexus that has all option installed. Besides, the avalon is cheaper and you get everything that's in the Lexus.
