A BH man will enter the fire when ordered to do so but on our side it may not be like that. We don't really have selfless leaders. What does it take to say as a president. My salary from now on will be shared to all the fallen soldiers.

I remember the time Jonathan insisted he will be going to Maiduguri ( according to his book ) and the security people said NO. They said even if Maiduguri was safe they could not guarantee the security of the path the aircraft will fly through.

The governor should mobilize the capacity of NIGERIA. If the soldiers have issues with thanks. Reach out to Physics professors. Let them come in. Talk to Nigeria in the diaspora. Meet people like Jonathan, Obasanjo let them key into it. Let NIGERIANS raise money for our soldiers.

Nigerians have not seen this war as theirs and it is because FG is playing politics with it but governor refuses to do so. Tell the people the truth and let them help. Soldiers are complaining of basic stuff that if you mobilize few people in Lekki will sort it out. NIGERIA is at war and the nation must rise up for Borno.

If he was 65years he won't be able to move like this. 2.3 million people displaced! How can you say you are a great leader and you will not be willing to die in the process.

And come to think of it. He is relatively young. He is 50 years old that is why he has the energy to move around. And l was just thinking, while we have old men leading us, how many of the insurgents are old. This is the generation of the youth. The old must park well.

This is the difference leadership can make.

Some of the places he goes to are where the military don't want him to go but he knows that his attempt to go there, means the military will have to go. I am just hearing now that he was shielded from bullets. As we speak now the head of the military in Borno will be hot seat.

Abuja can't be happy with him because he is revealing the fact that all is not well yet in Borno contrary to what the government claim. The military won't be happy with him because they will say his waka waka is too much but he keeps pushing knowing that at the end of the day it will make every body sit up.

You are really right on this. These are the things you see that confirms his genuine intentions.

So how do put a family man who has school fees to pay and family to take care of on the road and expect that he will magically be and continue to be an angel. At the end of the day. It will boil down to people sleeping on their jobs and stealing other people's money.

It is clear that there is motivation issues in the military. Leaders in Nigeria turn a blind to certain issues because when they look at it critically it will point back to them. For instance, why would soldiers be collecting 1k from motorist in Maiduguri. Is is possible that we put this men on the road without getting food across to them? Very possible

He is a professor by the way. According to him, the military planned it because he is disturbing them too much. He just frustrated about the whole thing.

All these that is happening is an embarrassment to Abuja but he doesn't care. That is a sign that he has decided not to play politics with the matter. He visited a school at 6:30am and the only woman he met, he promoted.

He is risking his life to go to some of this dangerous places to draw the attention of the military guys to those areas. This is not the first time and l know he won't stop.

Three policemen died but here is the point. He doesn't have the authority to give soldiers order. The constitution says he is the chief security office of his state but that is just on paper.

Repentant kwa! When guys are languishing in IDP camps. Well, l really don't know the details of that but most of the activities you hear about BH is handled by the military.

He is really putting everyone on their toes.

An average APC governor will keep quiet not to offend Abuja. He keeps speaking because to him. It is his people first. He deserves our encouragement

He believes that the military is not doing enough even as a APC guy he keeps saying it as it is.

He just told the military that if they can't protect baga that he will mobilize hunters. The guy just want this issue to end. he is certainly a different breed who is ready to work. There is certainly a limit to which he can do as a governor and not the commander in chief

But it was more like a documentary on a campaign sort of!!!

It's not about the governor, We are talking about human lives!!!

Politics ke? We had a governor in the state before and this new vigor is different.

He is really pushing the military guys to do more. He caught some soldiers collecting N 1000 at checkpoints. Came down from his convoy and scolded them that human beings are dying while they are there collecting money.

The governor doesn't have the authority to do that. He certainly looks like a person who would if he had.

We should not be discouraged that we can't do all. We are not meant to. Others also have a part play.

You may not be able to change the world but when you know that the little you can do is a complete part of a tapestry, then you will value its importance and you will be contented with achieving the little.

I think leaders must be contented with the "little they can do" I mean, do your bit and be contented with it and he is doing his bit. Do you really think BH is beyond the army.

The good thing is that it is not by force. If you can't do it. You leave it for people who can. This particular governor is really stretching everyone. Making sure they are on their toes.

When your people are under the sun you have to be under the sun too. We are yet to understand what leadership means in this society.

You have to rise to the occasion. Leaders must reflect their followers. Your people can't be poor and you are living in opulence. That is not leadership.
