Parents should try hard to instill patriotism in their kids. Schools are doing it but our homes are not doing enough.

May the might of the Federal not be too overwhelming.

A child that is brought up with a mentality that Nigeria is not a good country will not have the morale to work well in Nigeria. As a President he wont, a teacher he wont, a lecturer etc anything that concerns Nigeria he will do it with levity. At best only money will be his motivation. When money is the only motivation, corruption is knocking at the door.

You are quite right but there are so many things you will teach your children even though you dont agree with it. This is one of the ways that will assure them of a bright future. The bright future you want for them.

Other PDP governors seem to have found quietness as an hubby. Opposition is expensive.

If you believe in a place you will most likely succeed in it. Those that still believe in Nigeria will find it easier to succeed in it. I mean real success, not stealing and buying cars. Teach your kids to believe

Raise children with sound education. Not just going to great schools. I mean sound education. Teach them integrity and patriotism and they will flourish. The private sector are still desperately looking for people with integrity.

Lol, in a failing system lies a lot of opportunities for those who are very creative and have integrity. Integrity is a scarce commodity in Nigeria.

But today, the money they stole is still in their pocket and they are telling you that they swear to tell you the truth that they have never stolen before.

A president who swore to obeying the constitution that created him can be removed if he doesn't follow the constitution.

May be ke? The constitution knows the importance of this that is why if you lie after taking the oath you can go to jail for life according to the law.

We must dare to think outside the walls of the box. As funny as this is, it may just be the key to unlocking the potentials of Nigeria.

They swear to uphold the constitution to the later. They swear to say nothing but the truth but yet it is billion, billion that we hear. It is time for Sango to be invited.

Why should I pay tax when I still pay thousands to fuel my generator on a monthly basis, or pay for electricity that I didn’t use.
Why should I be tax compliant when I still have to pay heavily to give my children good education
Why should I pay when I have to visit private hospitals because the public ones couldn’t just serve me
Why should I pay when I can’t take my car out with peace of mind that I will drive on good road.
The “whys” are endless

I agree absolutely, we are backward in our educational system and if we don’t do something about it soon we will never be able to measure up with the world

The virtuous cycle have started already One good thing about education is that you get quick result. Invest well in education in a year. You will be reaping the benefits in no time.

even the market traders pay one form of tax or the other, the only problem with that is that most of the funds are not accounted for. But trust me they kill those people

I can imagine how exploitative they will be to the traders but on the average Nigerians dont like to pay tax. Most Nigerians don't pay tax.

Gov Wike would have been having so much fun if he was playing ball with the Federal government.

A tax payer has every right to use good roads, power supply,modern health care facilities, schools and other infrastructures. We shouldn’t be struggling for those things in this day and time

I totally agree with you. We are just lucky that we don't have serious natural disaster.

It is costly to oppose government in Nigeria.

In NIgeria going against the wishes of the Federal government can be very costly.

They are huge assets. The number of dollars they have attracted into Nigeria is huge. This is without government support. If the government supports them without destroying their organic growth. Oil money will not be compared to what they will bring. I heard Beyonce did Zanku and saw Paul Pogba dancing to Davido songs. Those guys are big national assets.

I am not talking about reading and passing. I am talking about getting knowledge that will add value to Nigeria socially or intellectually. Building people like Tiwa Salvage, Ebuka, 2 face, Pete Edochie, Late Sam Loco, Fela Kuti, Lagbaja, Burna boy e.t.c Fela today is more famous in France than President Buhari. These guys have added good economic value and recognition to Nigeria. More recognition than all the ambassadors can ever do in their lifetime

When you buy a car from Germany you are paying for knowledge. You are not really paying for the car. You see, knowledge is key.

Educating our people because you don't need money to build roads. You need knowledge. Let me explain. What do l need to build a road. Sand - If you have the knowledge of getting it, you get it. You only buy what you can't do. So you really need to educate your people with the raw skill that can grow your country. When you pay a Chinese man to build your train system, you are actually paying for his knowledge and integrity.
