I mailed the embassy to confirm if the german language course is compulsory or not, they replied me and said it's not compulsory if the school doesn't request for it. But u can learn it if u like just for ur own use. Just to clear all doubts |

surecan: there is no place indicated in the embassy website that you must have A1 German language result before you could be granted study visa unless your course is German taught program and family reunion visYes, it's not on d embassy website but having knowledge of the language might increase ur chance *I think*. Do u know anybody that has gone for masters taught in english without german language course? |

futurewise11: It all depend on the skool requirement.if they require A2 for example its possible to get that and apply for winter session,cos its like 3month for each stage.A1,A2,B1,B2 etc but most school always require B1.but I imploy u to check the school requirement and contact there international office.Pls d school I want to apply to is completely in english, but am hearing something like d embassy requires @least A1 even if ur course is taught in english. Pls do u any knw anything abt it? Thanx |

Hello people, pls I need ur help abt masters in germany... D school I intend to apply to teaches 100% in english... But am not sure if I still need to take a german lang course to boost my visa chance, and if I must take language course must it be at goethe? Can I take d language course anywhere apart from goethe (cos I don't stay in lagos)? Thanx 4 helping out. |
