mushroomFarm: I bought other things like chocolate biscuits and some spices too (since there's a 5% discount anyway) but these ones have no price tag on them
Can't attach pics because somehow Nairaland doesn't let me attach more than four pics.
(Extra cost not part of the 9.5k abeg😁)
I already prepared the whole chicken for grilling before I thought of making this thread so I couldn't attach it's price sticker. However it kind of seems like a wild chicken not sure and I have never bothered to ask, I just know that breed of chicken is relatively cheap and it tastes really really really 😋 delicious. Interesting, i will live to visit yakutsk one day, the weather and way of life of the people is really interesting |

To add to it, if you are new Inter bank and C6 might not open an account for you, because you dont have history in the country, stick with Nubank at first, after your crnm card is out, you can go on to open a traditional bank acct like Itau, bradesco and Santander You can also apply for a Bilhete Unico metro card at Anghbau station close to Republica station with your Passport and Cpf, you will get it instantly. |

Griot77: Hello Sir/Ma, I just submitted my application for VIVIS, Although I've been to Brazil before, my visa expired in February this year, so i am reapplying.
A friend helped with the previous application but currently not available, so am doing this application by myself. I have followed all the process but am not clear about the process on selecting courier as a means to transmit my documents to the embassy and i cant see that option on the online portal. Secondly if am using courier kindly expansiate on the two way delivery, is it that I pay DHL for 2-in-1 parcels for both delivery and return? Lastly, the Brazil consulate is close to my office, can I choose to deliver by hand?
I have booked my appointment through that portal using my passport, payment receipt and protocol page. Am yet to receive any confirmation email? How long does this take? Am I doing it wrongly or what other means can I use.
Appreciate your feedbacks Good day sir/ma When filling the forms on the Brazil main website, there is section where it will show by courier, self or in person. Secondly when you are about sending you will tell the dhl agent it for a visa process that you want a 2 way courier service(to the embassy and from the embassy) since you work close to the embassy. You can look for a DHL close to your office so the cost will be less. I don't think you can work into the embassy to drop off your documents. The lagos embassy sometimes delay, it you don't get reply after 3 weeks try sending them mails. If they reply then go ahead and send your physical documents via courier Goodluck |

oluomoadeb: Nigerians are not as much as Vietnames nor Venezuelas. Anyone that has a geniune visa will still be allowed to fly and enter the country. I just don't understand why people are seeking asylum because Brazil provided many legal means of getting residency visas. I wish people can start doing things in the right way. Airlines won't really believe the visa is genuine. EMIRATES showed me shege when flying. They took my passport multiple times and different location just to verify my visa after I dragged them for refusing to fly me because I had a tourist visa. The reason for asylum is that people don't want their visa to expire before being in the system. Most start with asylum then move to give birth or marry. |

They can even send you back if care isn't taken. Boss honestly Nigerians are few, the Asian countries and other African countries are way more. Even Algeria dey apply for asylum in Brazil. |

MsKay04: Hello from Sao Paulo
I've been here for a few days, and the weather is COLD. I guess I'll get used to it.
I got an airbnb but still on the look out for a decent accommodation (couldn't get a place for less than 3,600 Reais).
Brazil is a lovely place; at least the few places I have been to since my arrival. Try to use Quitoander or Vivareal, u can look at places closer to the metro for easy transportation in and out of the city. Belém, Tatuape and co is nice with shopping malls and all. |

Anyone coming to Brazil right now should be extra prepared because of the recent happenings in Brazil regarding immigrants. Embassy might be more strict and some airlines might not fly Africans. |

untamedd: There is a liaison office here in São Paulo where you'll fill the form and submit your PC. You can also send the PC to the embassy yourself after filling the form. The man there will advise you accordingly. You'll pay processing and courier fees. I can't paste his phone number here but I'll describe his office.
Go to Galaria Sete D'abril, Republica. Go upstairs and ask for Mr Ifeanyi. There is a Nigerian woman that sells food on the same floor, if you find her first you can ask her for his office.
After you send it, make sure to follow up with the embassy. Their phone number is on the Embassy's Google page and they respond will. Please boss what PC |

Coo1mana: Please like how much is needed for a single person to have in his or her account. Honestly it is not stated, but have as much as you can and state how you earn it (salary, business etc) you can even show landed properties if you have. Duration of trip also will determine how much you should have in your account, shorter trip kinda less and vice versa. Cheapest tickets nowadays is above 2.5m per person now multiply that by number of people going on the trip. Then you budget accommodation, feeding etc. You have to also factor in exchange rate. You also have to show you have enough available balance in your account when you come back from the trip. |

Obinnau: I totally agree with you about Qatar Air and their problems. The check-in officers almost put my wife in labour when they said she can not board. They said their policy is a no fly without MEDIF from 29 weeks, I argued it out with them and told them I would sue, because on their website it says 36 weeks at most with a medical certificate and not both. It turns out that the guys at the airport (not Nigeria) were operating on an old policy document. After 1 hour of back and forth and contacting Doha Airport, she was allowed to board.
here is the policy for pregnant travel https://www.qatarairways.com/en/family/expectant-mothers.html Please what the best airline to fly to Sao Paulo from Nigeria |

Coo1mana: How do I get it right? After uploading all the documents online and printing protocol page last week. If I try to login using my mail and password it will say there's no service with this mail. I checked status the first day it said 'sent' the next day it says 'sit'. I was not able to submit the protocol page because I can't login using my mail and password. Yesterday I tried to check status. It says service not found. I went back to update the application. I uploaded the documents again but still unable to login using email and password.
Please I need urgent advice. What should I do? I think you should an email to stating the challenges you are having, send the mail around past 9am-11am in the morning that when they are mostly available to reply as soon as possible. You can also try to open a new service and see what happens. It might be server issues. |

frankemka: Congrats bro, please I'd like for you to assist on how you started the whole process, my wife is pregnant and I'd like for her to give birth in Brazil. I just saw this thread and i don't know how to begin the application process To everybody that wants to apply for a Brazil Visa this is the steps Get all your documents ready(flight, hotel reservation, bank statement etc) Create a profile on https://ec-lagos.itamaraty.gov.br/ after creating the profile you will see a manual form you have to print and fill manually, and other things you will need to submit on Brazil main website. The Visa fees and bank account will also be there. Then visit https://formulario-mre.serpro.gov.br/sci/pages/web/ui/#/cidadao-nacionalidade you will need to translate to English, click on foreign citizen, then click on visa, fill the forms with the correct information and all. If you are applying for more than 1 person you have to fill the form for every body applying to get the visa, same at the lagos website too *when filling the form choose via courier to transmit your document to embassy* After filling the form, and attaching your documents which include the manual form you filled and others specifically stated by the lagos ec, then go ahead and print the protocol page which has a space for passport and signature. Attach your passport picture and manually sign the page, then scan the page. Sign in to your profile on https://ec-lagos.itamaraty.gov.br/ to upload your protocol page, proof of payment and international passport bio data page then click submit. A mail will be sent to your email associated with the Ec lagos acct about your application being reviewed, at this stage you will have to mail your physical documents including your passport to the embassy in lagos(it will have to be a two way package delivery, you send to embassy then they send back to you) After sending your documents to embassy visit https://formulario-mre.serpro.gov.br/sci/pages/web/ui/#/cidadao-nacionalidade then click on check status to see the status of your visa application Wait Wait Wait.
