The Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congresses (APC) Zamfara state chapter, Malam Yusuf Idris has called on the national leadership of the party to know the game plan of some politicians in the state who he said are bent on destroying the party if given the chance.

In a statement, Idris said, “The attention of the Zamfara state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been drawn to a malicious and unwarranted provocative statement published by some media houses and having emanated from some disgruntled former members of the APC and so-called elders of the state under the conscripted chairmanship of Alhaji Ibrahim Nabature for which we want the general public to note as follows:

“That the group has no standing in Zamfara, thus it was never in existence except for the purpose of creating disunity in the APC by those who chose to tow the path of disharmony and making frantic efforts in their last lap to (in their wild thoughts) destroy the APC”.

“At the local level in Zamfara, these people have faught tooth and nail to deny the peace loving Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle from defecting from his former political party, the PDP to the APC for their selfish fear that their bread-winner and former Governor Abdulaziz Yari will cease to be the APC leader as the position automatically shifted to the serving Governor of the party in the state”.

“Having failed in their home state, they attacked the APC Extra-ordinary Convention Committee Chairman and Governor of Yobe state, Hon. Mai Mala Buni by challenging his position as the convention committee chairman up to the Supreme Court where they also lost but at the same time, they were partnering with the PDP to see how they will bring these leaders and the party down”.

“Lastly, the same group of political touts now went out to fight the governors of Jigawa and Kebbi states in addition to that of Yobe by addressing them as the ones trying to bring down the party, forgetting that even when the APC was in crisis in Zamfara, these same gentlemen governors made serious efforts to resolve them”.

As for Mai Mala Buni, they are shameless to recognize that it is under his good and focussed leadership that three governors and with thousands of their followers left their former political parties to the APC which had never happened in the nation’s political history within such a short period of time.

Even at these, the self acclaimed concerned persons do not have any concern for the APC when they are seen everywhere working with the opposition PDP and sending bad signals to the APC.

They are at the moment, not APC members having deliberately refused to revalidate their membership including their mentor, ex governor Yari.

They don’t have any stake in the APC but they are looking for relevance so that they can have access to the party when they come with their destructive arsenals.

We wish to emphatically call on the APC national leadership to know the game plans of these treacherous persons whose loyality in the APC have since been self destroyed and are working towards going down with the party should they be given the chance.

GOVERNMENT PRESS STATEMENT

This is to notify the general public that following the directives by His Excellency the Gov, Hon Bello Muhammed Matawallen Maradun to restore all networks of telecommunications services, the directive is on course.

The attention of the general public is therefore hereby drawn to the processes involved in the restoration of the telecommunications networks.

These include the legal procedure of drafiting and signing of the executive order permitting the restoration, the survey of the current security situation in each of the 14 local government areas to ascertain the type of arrangements to be put in place after the restoration of the telecommunications networks,
The request for the restoration from the Minister of Communications and NCC which must be nacked up with the security reports and other bureaucratic procedures involved.

The government therefore pleads with the good and law abiding people of the state to exercise more patience, as all the processes are on course.

The Attorney General and Commissioner for justice has given the assurance that the executive order is almost completed and will soon be forwarded to His Excellency for signing.

In the same vein, security situation reports from various communities and local government areas are being compiled for onward submission to the Honourable minister of Communications and digital economy along with our letter of request.

Governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle of Zamfara State has today inspected the ongoing construction of Gusau five star Hotel.

While at the site, the Governor who has vowed to industrialized the State at all cost, charged the contractor to speedy-up the project for the benefit of the good people of the state.

During the inspection, the Governor also pleaded with the Contractor to maintain the construction standard so that the Hotel after completion, can be rated as one of the best standard Hotels in Nigeria.



Upon taking the mantle of leadership as the Executive Governor of Zamfara State on the 29th of May 2019, His Excellency Bello Mohammed MoN (Matawallen Maradun), did not waste time in indicating his interest and passion in restoring peace to the state, transforming the economy of the state and creating a conducive atmosphere for investment, business development and partnerships for the state and prospective foreign and local investors.

His Excellency Governor Bello Matawalle swung into action, setting machineries in motion to enable him achieve his vision, by quickly establishing the Investment and Public Private Partnership Directorate, and appointing a Special Adviser to head the Directorate.

So, the success being recorded by Governor Bello Matawalle is not far connected to the fact that His Excellency is an all-rounder and a man on a mission to change the narrative in Zamfara State in terms of providing adequate infrastructures, and developmental projects in the education, health and economic sector of the State.

The former Governor of Zamfara State Abdul Aziz Abubakar Yari has finally reunited with his friends in the PDP and agreed with the Kwara State born radical politician, the former Senate president His Excellency Bukola Saraki to use all the necessary resources, to fight the ruling party, the All Progressive Congress Party, the APC come 2023 General elections.

Reports filtering to us indicate that, Yari who is supposed to be in his State Zamfara for the ongoing APC State congress was seen alighting from what seemed to be a private jet along with the former Senate president Bukola Saraki, Senator kabiru Marafa and others at one of the Nigerian Airports for an urgent People Democratic party Caucus meeting.

Yari who looked relaxed and comfortable with his old and new friends in the PDP laughed heartedly and chatted easily, as they walked out of the airport to their waiting cars.

One may recall that, Yari and Marafa have been working secretly against their party the APC, for a while now as Information also revealed that Yari gifted the sum of 50 million Naira as his contribution to the embattle Zamfara State Deputy Governor Mahdi Aliyu Gusau for the just concluded PDP National Congress.

Also, severals reports indicate that Yari has never since he left office attended or sent a representative to any of the APC functions in the State. His relationship has always been lip service. His heart has always been with the PDP and now, he has finally moved.

Since the controversial November 6th election which INEC drunkenly declared APGA and Charles Soludo winner and Governor elect, the incumbent Governor, HE, Chief Dr. Willie Obiano had since left the country to his base in Huston, US America, for vacation and purpose not related to State assignment or function.


Obaino who travelled through his personalized Umueri Airport often disguised as Anambra Airport did not deem it necessary to transfer power to his Deputy or Speaker of the House of Assembly should the Deputy not also available, rather he left for his ego trip with the Power of the State to far away Huston leaving Anambra State without leadership and on auto pilot.


This is sad, absurd and brazen flaunt of his Oath to abide by the provisions of the constitution for the duration of his stay in the office of the Governor.


More painful is his inability to notify the State through the House of Assembly about his Vacation which would then allow the House compel him to transfer power before his trip, instead, he neglected both the legislature and Law which he swore to abide by.


In Section 190(1) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended) clearly provides that whenever a governor is embarking on a vacation, he shall transmit a written declaration to the Speaker of the House of Assembly and the Deputy Governor or the Speaker of the House shall take over the control of governmental affairs as acting Governor.


Given that the Constitution makes it a mandatory condition before embarking on vacation, the governor’s failure, refusal, and or neglect to abide by the sacred constitutional provisions is a rude abuse and gross misconduct that must be checkmated.


Today, we have the Head of service and Secretary to the State Government representing the Governor at most functions and affairs of Governance of the State, when the Deputy is hale, hearty and available to perform his supposed duty as empowered by the law.


In a time of Security concern and other misfortune hitting the State hard, Anambra is without a supremo, everything that connects to the seat of power will be on suspense till the return of Willie Obiano, even if people of the State are dying and need the action of the Office of the Governor in any guise, they would have to die before intervention would surface.


I am not concerned or worried that the Governor ran Abroad in search of Solace, rather his neglect of the provisions of the constitution, his illegal, absurd and criminal abuse of the Office he was elected to occupy.


There’s no part of the Nigerian constitution that availed the Governor the right to leave his primary assignment without transfer of power to either his Deputy or Speaker of the House.


We equally understand his self created difference with his Deputy Governor, Dr. Nkem Okeke who is of the All Progressive Congress Party, APC, but the seat of Anambra State Governor and the constitution of Nigeria is not for Willie Obiano to alter or decide otherwise.



It’s already Yuletide, States with working environment are busy fixing their Roads and Security ahead of the season, but in Anambra, reserve is the case; we today, have the worst Road networks and poorest security in the Nation, but the Governor is rather disinterested in our plight.


The thirty three (33) Billion Naira that was earmarked for massive Roads and Bridge construction in the State as contained in the 2021 state budget seems a hoax and avenue of retiring State funds because there’s nothing to show for that and the budget cycle already elapsed.


The miseries of ndi Anambra are enormous but we have decide to adopt the suffering and smiling lifestyle.


Aside the many insecurity ravaging the State, bad Roads and all, Anambra is on Auto pilot as it currently does not have a Governor.

Thousands of delegates and supporters of the All Progressive Congres, APC in Zamfara state turned out in massive numbers to elect their new leadership at the ward Congress held on Saturday.

Our News medium observed that the exercise was conducted in a peaceful atmosphere across the all 147 wards, despite the much anticipated security challenge in the state.
Women and youths in large numbers attended the event while APC officials gathered to monitor the conduct peacefully.

At Galadima and Kayyaye/Matusgi wards under Talata Mafara local governments, the APC ward congress was conducted smoothly, without rancour.

We observe proceedings at the two wards, reports that party members turned out in their large numbers to participate in the elective ward Congress.

Similar reports across other wards of the state say party executive members emerged through consensus.

A delegate, Sani Maigadi from Galadinma ward of Talata Mafara Local Government Area of the state, who was interviewed by our correspondent commended Governor Bello Matawalle for ensure a transparent and rancour-free exercise.

"This Congress is one of the best so far in the state.
We appreciate His Excellency for ensure a united APC. There was no imposition and the conduct was peaceful." He said.

The Women Leader of Galadinma ward, Hajia Husseina Talata Mafara said APC has emerged a formidable party since the emergence of Governor Bello as the party leader in the state.

The Sole Administrator, Talata Mafara local government council, Honourable Dahiru Maiyara, commended party members for a rancour free ward congress across the local government.

Dahiru admonished the newly elected party leaders to be transparent and carry party members in running the affairs of the party.

The congress was conducted under the supervision of Alhaji Ibrahim Kabir Massri led APC national headquarters congress committee.

Addressing members of the party before the commencement of the congress, Masari said, "the national headquarters of the party has approved the conduct of the congress in Zamfara state.

Indications that all is not going down well at Zamfara Apc chapter after the National body through its Headquarter fixed November 13th 2021 as the official date for it's Wards Congress in the State.

The announcement by the ruling party APC, did not go down well with some factions that emerged following the defection of the Zamfara State Governor Bello Matawalle from the peoples Democratic Party PDP to the ruling All progressive Congress APC.

Not pleased with the decision from the National Headquarter, Senator Kabiru Marafa representing Zamfara Central at the 8th Assembly has threatened to Conduct a parallel Congress to achieve his own Party executives.

Marafa who made this assertion while granting an interview on Channels Television current affairs programme "Politics Today"also threatened to challenge the decision and action of All Progressive Congress APC National body by approaching the Court to Challenge the conduct and Scheduled Ward Congress in all the 14 local Government of Zamfara State.

To ascertain the outcome of the ward congress our reporter embarked on an investigative findings on the wards congresses within the 14 local government Area.

However, our reporters could not ascertain any parallel Congress in any of the 14 local Government areas of the State.

According to our reporters, only the Governors faction Conducted the Wards Congress in all the 14 local Government areas. Further findings reveals that most of Sen. Marafa's supporters has made a last minute to a join the moving train of Governor Matawalle reasons Marafa did not conduct the parallel Congress.

A Supporter of Senator Kabiru Marafa said, "they are tired of being used by the Senator to disrupt Zamfara Politics.

Senator Aliyu Mohammed Tsafe, a Supporter also said, " which trouble are they going to face? " is it the party squabbles or the Inherited insecurity the Governor is working to curtail.

Zamfara State is losing at the the National level and becoming ungovernable, we just need to shield our sword for the sake of all and move the state forward, most our these disagreement should be resolved in house.

Our reporters who went round to some local Government areas of the State reported that, the officials of the APC National Headquarters were at the local Governments to oversee the Conduct of the exercise and have expressed their satisfaction on the level of Cooperation and massive turnout of members for the exercise.


It may be recalled that Senator Kabiru Marafa fought Abdul Aziz Yari the former Governor gallantly to his knees during the 2019 General Election.

His Excellency, the Zamfara State Executive Governor Hon. Dr Bello Mohammed Matawalle MON ( Shattiman Sakkwat) has reiterated that the All Progressives Congress APC will remain united in the state in spite of efforts by a few disgruntled elements to cause disharmony.


Matawalle made the assertion today, while chairing the party's Stakeholders meeting held at the Government House, Gusau.


The governor who was represented by the Speaker of the state's House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Nasiru Muazu Magarya at the event, maintained that all members of the party respect its constitution especially as regards leadership roles in order to uphold the tenets of discipline, loyalty and harmony.


He said, as responsible leaders, the leaders of the party at all levels respect hiararchy which recognizes President Muhammadu Buhari as the party's leader at the National level and state governors in APC controlled states as leaders of the party in their respective states.


This according to him, has ensured the gains of the party throughout the country.


He noted with passion, the effort of the national working committee of the party led by Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe for facilitating the growth of the party leading to registration of over one million members in the state at the last registration exercise.


The governor then commended all stakeholders of the party and other supporters for ensuring a rancour free exercise while calling on them not to be diverted by the negative views of those who are bent on destroying the party.


Earlier, leader of the team from the APC National Secretariat, Alhaji Kabiru Masari said they were deployed to the state for the exercise according to the dictates of the party's constitution.


He said, all existing guidelines of the party will be followed with respect to those who go for consensus and those who opted for election.


Also the party's Caretaker Committee Chairman in the state, Sen. Hassan Mohammed Nasiha urged members to go about the exercise freely and without fear of harassment or intimidation by anybody or group.


Nasiha who pointed out that nothing illegal was taking place, cautioned those trying to sabortage the exercise to desist in their own interest or face the party's wrath against such recalcitrants.

The stakeholders meeting was attended by Ambassador, Bashir Yuguda Gusau, Former Deputy Governors, Mallam Ibrahim Wakkala Muhammad and Hon Muktar Ahmad Anka, Senator Sahabi Ya'u Kaura, Senator Lawal Hassan Dan-Iya, Senator Hassan Muhammad Nasiha, Honourable Aminu Sani Jaji, Honourable Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi and Professor Abdullahi Muhammad Shinkafi.

Former Governor of Zamfara State, Alhaji Abdul Aziz Yari is in deep trouble. According to reports reaching us, we have it on good authority that one of the henchmen of the former governor, is now in the hand of security operatives in connection with some classified documents belonging to the Nigeria Governors' Forum (NGF), and money in foreign currency recovered from him upon routine search.

The henchman whose name was withheld for security reason was intercepted on a tip off while traveling from Talata Mafara to Abuja where he was expected to deliver the documents. After hours of interrogation, the suspect started making some shocking revelations. According to him, he was directed by his principal, the former Governor, to collect the documents for onward submission to consultants on matter now before a Federal High Court Abuja, to facilitate a case before it on the payment of consultancy Fee to the tune of $418m.
 
He further revealed that his principal, the former Governor was seriously worried by the action of the Nigeria Governors who rejected the payment of the Consultancy charges to the Consultants and even threatening to probe him for the massive fraud he committed, when he was the Chairman of the NGF.

It may be recalled that, the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice Abubakar Malami SAN, demanded for the deduction of the said $418m from the State Governors' Accounts for payment of the purported balance of the fraudulent consultancy services said to be rendered for the NGF. If the amount is paid, state governors would not be able pay their workers salaries.
The suspect also admitted that the $300,000 Dollars found on him was meant for General Aliyu Mohammed Gusau, for onward submission to one of the Judges handling Zamfara Cases in Abuja. 

Our Source said the suspect also revealed that his Principal, Abdul Aziz Yari promised to destroy the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), since President Muhammadu Buhari refused to help him, after he has done for the President's success. He said Yari, along with Senator Aliyu Wammakko representing Sokoto North senatorial district and his counterpart Mohammed Adamu Aleiro representing Kebbi Central have perfected a plan with General Aliyu Mohammed Gusau to truncat the ruling All Progressives Congress in the next general elections comes 2023. The suspect said both the three leaders were grossly angry with President Muhammadu Buhari whom they accused of stranglating their political future, after decades of loyalty and support to him.  

Furthermore, the suspect who was crying for mercy throughout the interrogation, said that the three, that is, Yari, Wamakko and Adamu Aleiro have Signed an (MOU ) with General Aliyu Mohammed Gusau for the destruction of the APC, to pave way for the PDP to have an upper hand in the 2023 General elections.

He also revealed that the video clip now viral on social is part of the money the former Governor Yari released during the just concluded PDP national convention. "He said the money was shared through Yari boys, including Kwanka and Captain Mai Riga, a former Nigerian Ambassador to Guinea Conakry. According to our source, "as part of the project, Yari has paid a whopping sum of Two Hundred Million Naira (N 200, 000 000) to Mai Mala Buni, the Chairman, APC  Care taker committee and extraordinary National convention and another Fifty Million Naira (50, 000 000) to the party's organizing Secretary, the reason why Zamfara APC  Congress was suspended indefinitely.

Things are currently not looking good for the former Zamfara State Governor Abdul Aziz Abubakar Yari, over his All Progressive Congress, APC, Chairmanship ambition.

A close Aide to Yari who pleaded anonymity disclosed to this medium that in an emergency political meeting held at Abuja, "the former Zamfara Governor have been running up and down to seek audience with some reputable APC gladiators to influence Baba Bisi Akande, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Mai Mala Buni, Abubakar Malami, and kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje respectively to plead on his behalf to President Muhammadu Buhari to accept his candidacy as the National Chairman of the ruling party, the APC .

In a communiqué made available to this medium, the aggrieved Aide to the former Governor angrily lamented that, "I doubt, if the candidacy of my boss the former Zamfara Governor will be accepted by Mr. President, considering the series of corruption allegations level against him and the physical provocative languages he has melted on the former APC Chairman, Adams Oshiomole in Zamfara State during the kangaroo APC primary elections organized by the former Governor."

The Aide said, "He even threatened to eliminate Oshiomole if he dear step into Zamfara State to conduct free and fair elections. The party has rejected him, he is only making a fruitless attempt."

You may recall that the former Governor has been arrested, drilled and detained severally by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, severally for misappropriation, maladministration of State funds with this chain of dishonesty and high ranking corruption. The former Governor will find it very difficult to be accepted by APC National Caucus for this noble and sensitive position.

As part of the developmental strides of the people's Governor, His Excellency Hon. Dr. Bello (Muhammad Matawallen Maradun), MON, the Governor of Zamfara State, the ultramodern state of the art International Conference Center, at JB Yakubu Secretariat, Gusua is near completion.

During an unscheduled visitation and inspection of the edifice that can accommodate over 2,000 people, the Honorable Commissioner of Works and Transport in Zamfara State, Rabiu Garba Gusau said; "it is part of Governor's efforts at creating befitting infrastructures in the state."

He said; the visit is carried in other to assess the level, quality and progress of the project. He also charged the contractors handling it to ensure timely completion of the project.

For the last 23 years we have experienced the leadership of three parties in Anambra state and Nigeria, the PDP, APC and APGA (APGA in Anambra at least). We are not in any doubt that the outcome has been disastrous. At this time, we need to reflect and discern our path moving forward.

We have had the APGA government in Anambra state for the last 16yrs, yet Anambra is today one of the most unsafe places to live or raise a family; safety concerns aside, youth and teenage cultism are widespread. Yet APGA is campaigning hard to retain control of the state. What new do we expect of them?

PDP and APC have been in charge of the entire country. APC controls the central government and shares the control of the states and Parliament with the PDP. PDP was in control of the central government for 16 out of the 23yrs. The poverty, unemployment, insecurity, infrastructural lack/decay, the hopelessness and the near-state-failure of the country that we experience today are consequences of the misrule of these parties.

While the ordinary people say enough of them and want them out, the elites feeling content, privileged or scared, continue to play ostrich. Anambra like many states in Nigeria walks the path of Afghanistan. Human lives seem to be worthless. No matter what we think, the Time Bomb ticks, we don't know who will be next victim. We are in a state of anomie; uncertainty, misery, strife and bloodbath have taken root. Meanwhile, we have a government in place and 3parties in charge of the state and country.

The biggest challenge facing us is our apparent inability to confront the status quo. I am sure everyone wishes Nigeria/Anambra good and we acknowledge that election time is the best time to make the critical decision about leading the future. There will never be change except we make a deliberate effort in a new direction. We cannot mouth newness, third Force or change to life, we must take deliberate action.

The African Democratic Congress ADC has been in the forefront of creating a system that works for everyone, and a government that is disciplined and accountable to the people. A new Anambra that is production driven, with progressive people and developmental politics beckons. I invite you to align with ADC and with a warm HANDSHAKE let's make Akachukwu Nwankpo the Governor and build a state of our dreams and make Anambra the IJELE of Africa.

A retired army general and former national security adviser, Aliyu Gusau was reputed to have received a sum of 50 million naira from former Zamfara governor, Abdullaziz Yari.

The former NSA however admitted to receiving only 20 million naira from the former governor and it was't for him. His son Mahdi Aliyu Gusau, the Deputy Governor of Zamfara state is the beneficiary of this fund.

He said the money was disbursed to the deputy governor as part of Yari's logistics Support to ensure a smooth and hitch free attendance by Zamfara state PDP delegates and Supporters to Abuja for the just-concluded National Convention of the party.

A close associate of the general quoted him as saying
"Yari has the right to decide which party to belong to and as a Nigerian he has done nothing wrong in giving his contribution to whichever political party he chooses to".

It may be recalled that some recent publications carried stories about Yari donating money and cars to some PDP chieftains, in which General Aliyu Gusau name was also mentioned.

Zamfara politicians have been at loggerhead since 2019 when the Supreme Court ruled in favour of the PDP, despite 100 per cent success of the APC.

Many analysts say the rampant insecurity in Zamfara is being fueled by the conflict of interest between the state's political gladiators.

A former president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr Goodluck Jonathan has thrown his full weight behind frontline Anambra Guber hopeful, Nze Akachukwu Sullivan Nwankpo of the African Democratic Congress, (ADC).

Speaking during a courtesy visit of the Akachukwu Nwankpo Campaign Team to his country home in Otueke, Bayelsa State, Jonathan said Nwankpo will make a very ideal Governor if elected as he is not greedy and not likely to pilfer public funds.

The former President, who is now a special envoy of the nation said; “Akachukwu Nwankpo is not a thief, he is not greedy. I can always stand for him.”

The former President prayed for him and charged him to add value to Anambra State when elected.

Reports just reaching this medium has it that a former Governor of Zamfara State, Abdulaziz Yari, has distributed money and cars to some PDP stalwarts, immediately after returning some National leaders of the party unoppose in the just concluded National Convention of the Party.

A close ally to the ex Governor, Mikailu Barau said; Abdulaziz Abubakar Yari is preparing to decamp to the PDP following series of frustrations being meted out at the former governor.

Our source disclosed that Yari gave 100m naira to Sokoto State Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, 50 million naira to Bar. Mahdi Aliyu Gusau and a brand new Prado Jeep to the newly-elected PDP National Youths leader with 15m for fueling.

The source also disclosed that Yari promised Gen Aliyu Gusau his full fledged support and commitment to ensure that Bar. Mahdi Aliyu is elected the next Governor of Zamfara State.

It was also gathered that Yari has already shared all the elected positions to some political big wings in his camp, including Senator Kabiru Marafa for ministerial appointment, Ikra Aliyu Bilbis for Central Senatorial seat, Tijjani Yahaya Kaura for Northern Senatorial seat, and he Yari for Western Senatorial seat.

Yari who pledged to deal with Attorney General of the federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami for the role he played in disgracing him, also promised to exposed Mamman Daura to public shame for the money he collected from Dauda Lawal Dare through the former APC National Chairman Oshiomole with the promise to make him Zamfara Governor in the 2019 governorship election, but failed to do so.

The former governor was also quoted as saying" I will never forgive Buhari, Yarima, Malami, Mamman Daura, Oshiomole, Bagudu, Badaru, Hadi Sirika, and Masari for the roles they played in stealing our mandates through judiciary", Yari said.

Zamfara has been facing serious security challenges for over a decade now due to the activities of do or die politicians and conflict entrepreneurs.

Reports reaching our News Medium have it that the combined security forces in Zamfara State have successfully arrested some of the loyalists of a Zamfara powerful politician behind supplying bandits with their daily needs.

Those caught supplying food items, fuel, medicine and other logistics to different bandit's camps in the state, revealed that the politician, they we're only asked to convey the supplies to the bandits without telling how the supplies were obtained it why the supply.
Interrogations into the matter revealed that the political behind the unpatriotic and criminal act is an ex banker, Dauda Lawal Dare who vowed to make Zamfara ungovernable.
It was also gathered that upon the suspects arrest, four vehicles being used for logistics were intercepted and out of the vehicles, three belonged to the ex banker Dauda Lawal fertilizer company situated in the State Capital.
During interrogation, the suspects revealed that they knew nothing about the motives behind the supply of the basic needs to the bandits enclaves.

Many observers across Nigeria have believed that the rising of bandits activities in Zamfara State as nothing but a pure political sabotage to discredit the Government of Governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle's administration.
