Have you ever think of cooking something different or try to improvise, I did on this food. This is one of the soups I once prepared several years back but I didn’t have time for it anymore. Business / Broiler And Layer Farming Business In Nigeria by newsyinsider: 10:52am On Aug 06, 2016
Broilers are young chicks of about a day old or more and Layers are matured hen and cock that mate to give birth to young ones. Layers are the producer of eggs we eat, so going into this business can fetch you double money, both from selling the chickens or selling the eggs. Broilers are young ones that are breed to adult. This also can fetch them double money, they can either sell them young to customers or they can grow them properly and sell them.

Broilers are very cheap to buy, in Nigeria, their prices are from the range of N10 – N150, it depends on location. You can’t expect someone leaving in the village or one local area to buy them at the same price as someone in the urban and more civilized area. Cost of living and cost of products are different.

Breeding of broilers are almost the same as breeding of fishes. Ways of breeding are different because some are breeding them for their own consumption while others are breading them for business. People that are breeding them for consumption might not acquire everything they needed to nurture them nicely or they might not be able to afford what they needed to grow, so they only give them what they have as food, like giving them our own daily food, giving them human kind of medicine and things like that. http://newsyinsider..com.ng/2016/08/broiler-and-layer-farming-business-in.html

Business / Cat Fish Farming Business In Nigeria by newsyinsider: 10:01am On Aug 06, 2016
Cat fish farming is a process of breeding fishes for business purpose. Cat fish farming is a very profitable business in every country especially in Nigeria. Nearly 70% of Nigerians consume one form of fish or the other. The business is never an outdated business. And also one of the small scale businesses in Nigeria that can be done even at home.

It mostly about rearing of cat fish and selling them for profit making. Cat fish farming are often operated by agriculturist, professional, but nowadays, you don’t need special training to start the business. All you need is to know little or few about the business and you will become successful in no time. Don’t go into fish business without knowing little information about the business, it’s very risky. All you need to know is how they breed, live and survive.

Pond for breeding them, it won’t cost you a lot of money to make a pond, once you have a land space. It is very good if you have an open space of your own for keeping them. If not, get big plastic bowls or other open containers that can contain the amount of fishes you are buying. http://newsyinsider..com.ng/2016/08/cat-fish-farming-business-in-nigeria.html

Politics / EFCC Reveals The Secret Behind Fayose's N1.3 Billion Houses by newsyinsider: 4:46pm On Jul 19, 2016
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has traced N1.3billion worth of properties to Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state.

The anti-graft agency said it was a major breakthrough in the alleged corruption case against the Ekiti state governor and his associate Abiodun Agbele.

They disclose how N1.3billion houses were acquired by Ekiti state governor Ayodele Fayose.

Agbele is currently in the custody of the EFCC. Fayose’s companion was alleged to have received N1.219bn from one time minister of State for Defence Musiliu Obanikoro on behalf of the Ekiti state governor earlier to the Ekiti governorship election in June, 2014.

In addition, investigators from the EFCC alleged Fayose used the large sum of N1.219bn along with some money from Ekiti funds to acquire houses in Lagos and Abuja which have since been seized by the EFCC. A detective in the EFCC stated that the embattled governor used Agbele to purchase the possessions in a way that would make the cause of the money seem genuine. The EFCC investigator exposed that the two properties at Abuja were bought with bank loans from Skye and Zenith Banks on the surface. On the other hand, the stolen money was said to be used in offsetting the bank loans. http://newsyinsider..com.ng/2016/07/efcc-reveals-truth-secret-behind.html

Education / JAMB Says They Must Approve Admissions After Universities Screening by newsyinsider: 5:34pm On Jul 18, 2016
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has given condition for the 2016 admissions, saying it will only give approval “after appropriate screening of the candidates by the institutions.”

The Registrar/Chief Executive of JAMB, Prof. Dibu Ojerinde, said this in a statement on Sunday.

He said, “The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board wishes to state that the latest list of candidates sent to all the tertiary institutions contains candidates who qualified for screening based on the individual institution’s capacity. It’s not in any way an admission list. However, if this list is not sufficient for the need of any institution, such institution can source from the omnibus printout earlier sent to them by the board. The public and all tertiary institutions should note that admission will only be approved by the board after appropriate screening of the candidates by the institutions.

“The list, which is made up of candidates, who met the national cut-off point within the set criteria, is sent to the institutions. Again, for purposes of clarity, all institutions that have need for more can source from their omnibus printout as stated above. The candid intention of the board is to ensure that available spaces are adequately utilized.”

The Federal Government had, on Saturday, explained its ban on Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and the general admission procedure.

It said it “does not in any way affect the statutory role of the Senate of any university or the academic board of any tertiary institution conducting its admissions.”

The Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu, also made the clarification in a report by the Deputy Director of Press and Public Relations in the Ministry of Education, Mr. Ben. Bem-Goong.

He said the clarification became essential “following conflicting reports in the media over the roles of universities and JAMB in admission under the new dispensation.”

According to him, the role of JAMB is to conduct the UTME, compile the list of candidates whose scores meet the cut-off marks (180 and above) and send same to the universities.

The institutions, he emphasized, would shortlist the candidates, using the approved strategies and thereafter return the shortlisted candidates to JAMB for verification of compliance with the guidelines and issuance of JAMB admission letters.

“For the avoidance of doubt, any screening charges shall apply only to successful candidates, who have been issued admission by the universities of their choice,” Adamu stated.

Meanwhile, the Vice-Chancellor of the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Prof. Ibrahim Garba, has said the Senate of universities in the country should be responsible for setting standards for admissions into their institutions.

Garba stated this while answering questions at the News Agency of Nigeria forum in Abuja.

The vice-chancellor faulted the situation where JAMB and the Ministry of Education set standards for admission into the university.

Garba stated, “Universities have autonomy by law; each university should set its criteria for taking students.

“But of course, JAMB and the ministry are saying that because it is our country, we must have a policy that regulates, so that we have a good balance but not on quality.

“A university Senate is supposed to set standard for accepting students that it takes and trains and graduates.

“We are hoping that very soon, we will resolve this matter because it is getting more and more embarrassing.

“Even the state universities have told the Federal Government that education is in the concurrent list in the constitution.

“The Federal Government has no control and should not have control over a state university; they have a council appointed by the governor.

“They can only fulfil NUC’s standard requirements, but not admission quota.’’ http://newsyinsider..com.ng/2016/07/jamb-will-approve-admissions-after.html
Politics / Doyin Okupe Said Jonathan Ordered Dasuki To Give Him N100m by newsyinsider: 4:03pm On Jul 18, 2016
The former Senior Special Assistant on Public Affairs to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Dr. Doyin Okupe, says the former National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki (rtd.), gave him N100m on the order of Jonathan.

Okupe, who served as Jonathan’s spokesman from 2012 to 2015, added that he received N10m monthly from Dasuki to pay salaries and run a weekly programme on NTA.

The former presidential adviser said this in a Facebook post on Sunday while responding to his arrest and interrogation by the EFCC.

The EFCC had alleged that Okupe received N85m from Dasuki at different times.

In his response, Okupe said, “The initial N50m was approved by the President (Goodluck Jonathan) to be paid to me from his security vote. N10m was to furnish my rented living apartment and another N10m for my office. The balance N30m was approved as take-off grant.

“The N10m I received from the ONSA monthly was to run my office, pay salaries of members of staff, including overheads, pay expenses for our numerous press conferences, pay for publications in newspapers, magazines, local and foreign, television programmes, bulletins, and media consultants who assist and facilitate our work. I had about 23 (members of staff), 11 were graduates out of which five were Master’s degree holders.

“The second N50m was again approved by Mr. President when I reported to him that the monthly allowance had been cut from N10m to N5m and that I was no longer in a position to keep running a one-hour NTA network programme called INSIGHT which was aired 9am to 10am every Friday. http://newsyinsider..com.ng/2016/07/doyin-okupe-said-jonathan-ordered.html
Politics / Court Finally Explain Why They Sack Dr Okezie Ikpeazu by newsyinsider: 5:14pm On Jul 16, 2016
The Federal High Court yesterday said Justice Okon Abang ordered Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu’s sack because the judge found that he allegedly submitted false tax information to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The court however said the case had nothing to do with forgery of tax documents. Because there are two different cases charged against Ikpeazu.

He said one of the cases was filed by Sir Friday Nwosu against Dr. Ikpeazu and Dr. Sampson Uche Ogah as defendants. The case was before Justice Ambrose Allagoa.

In the second suit before Justice Abang, Dr. Ogah was the plaintiff while Dr. Ikpeazu and Sir Nwosu were the defendants.

The court said the case before Justice Allagoa bothered on alleged forgery or falsification of tax certificate and receipts for 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 by Dr Ikpeazu. In determining the case, Justice Allagoa stated that “a mere nebulous averment is not enough for the purpose of pleading the crime of forgery.” The judge also said “forgery is a criminal offence and must be proved, which the plaintiff failed to do.”

It was conveyed that the court further held that by the affidavit of the Abia State Director of Taxes attesting that the documents are genuine, the court held that there was belief of genuineness of the valuation and the certificate and/or receipts issued to Dr. Ikpeazu.

“The court further held that the consequential reliefs have become unnecessary for the court’s consideration.

“It should be noted that the court did not make any consequential orders with regard to the position of the governor other than the allegation of forgery.” http://newsyinsider..com.ng/2016/07/court-finally-explain-why-they-sack-dr.html

Politics / What They Won’t Tell The President, Dele Momodu Says by newsyinsider: 4:30pm On Jul 16, 2016
Dele Momodu just released a statement on SIGNAL saying;

Fellow Nigerians, reactions to my column last week were not unexpected. As anticipated, they were indeed varied. Some people were impressed that anyone could tell President Muhammadu Buhari what most people would never dare. Others felt I could talk because I don’t work with the President and therefore do not feel the pressure of those that do. A few more simply dismissed my contribution as they usually do without any good reason.

It could be true that more often than not, aides usually misread their bosses and idols and so feel under pressure not to irritate, annoy or even antagonise their Boss. I have had the privilege of working and interacting with bigwigs at home and abroad and noticed that many of their employees treat them with awe, fear and trepidation but not necessarily with respect. On my part, I have tried to remain truthful, respectful and loyal to my bosses without being fawning or uncritical. Sometimes, they would love and appreciate these attributes. On other occasions, they’ve chosen to live in denial and bury their heads in the sand like ostriches do. Even when they have discovered the truth, ego has sometimes denied them the chance of accepting the fact that you were right and they were wrong. http://newsyinsider..com.ng/2016/07/what-they-wont-tell-president-dele.html

Politics / Fayose Said He Is Unmoved By Efcc Media Trial by newsyinsider: 1:16pm On Jul 16, 2016
The Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose, has said that he stayed firm by the media trial taken by the EFCC against him. He said the EFCC and the APC should wait till he finishes his tenure in 2018 and he will confront all “their lies”. He accused the anti-graft commission of consorting stories in an attempt to destroy his appearance.
He said when the EFCC probed him in 2006, he challenged them in the court on their cook up stories on poultry project, and they failed to validate all accusations against him which dissolved their case. This did not stop him from having a second term as governor of Ekiti State, and it will still not prevent him from handling over to PDP in 2018.
He said, “If what the EFCC and its collaborators are now relying on is a driver or a source in EFCC that speaking for Zenith Bank, and not the former National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki (rtd) that they claimed gave the former Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro money to give me, goodluck to them. He also stated, “I will meet them in court and the whole world will again listen to their feeble stories as it happened in poultry saga.”

Only hours earlier Hollande had announced the state of emergency would be lifted by the end of July, but the president said that following the attack, in which many children were killed, it would now be extended by three months.

"France is filled with sadness by this new tragedy," he said. "There's no denying the terrorist nature of this attack of yet again the most extreme form of violence."

Sports / Sir Alex Ferguson Stated Cristiano Ronaldo As The Special Footballer Of His Gene by newsyinsider: 9:41am On Jul 15, 2016
Legendary football manager Sir Alex Ferguson has lay off any comparison between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, tagging the Real Madrid striker as the special footballer of his generation and also said he's been at the top of the game for over 10years. Ferguson, who was at the Stade de France to see Ronaldo lift the Euro 2016 Trophy, is adamant that the forward's dedication to the sport is a part of the reason for his success.

"He has an incredible desire for football, Cristiano is looking forward to each workout. He always wants to be better, to win. He especially loves these big games,' Ferguson told Bild. 'During my time at Manchester United, Cristiano was the player who developed the most. Through much hard work. He constantly worked on his shooting technique, with the right, left, his heading ability, his bounce. His performance improvement is incredible. And what is remarkable, today's football is so athletic, so fast. Usually top players can only play for about five or six years at the highest level, then it's over. Cristiano has been doing this for over 10 years. That makes him so exceptional. 'Every generation has its special footballer, Cristiano is currently." he said

According to Sir Alex, Cristiano Ronaldo's aspiration for football separates him from the rest as the best current player in the world.
