JohnSin97: Lol....half truths just to push a narrative.
Firstly dele momodu's mother isn't even from osun state and only ignorant folks don't know that dele momodu is from Edo state whose father only settled in osun state.
The rest you mentioned are all false.....their fathers are pure Yoruba men....lol or is ambode's father an Igbo man.
Stop peddling falsehoods and half truths. Oga, Dele Momodu's mother is from Ile-Ife in Osun State, and his father is from Edo State. The reason his full name is Ayòbámidélé Àbáyòmí Ojútelégàn Àjàní Momodu is because of his Yoruba mother. He was born and bred in Ile Ife. |

Idiko1: This is funny indeed. What the hell is state of origin? His/her mother's state of origin is bestowed on the chap who claims his/her mother's side of the divide. So, you think Abia people will allow Yemi Alade to go for an elective position in their state just because her mother is from Abia? Lol, keep deluding yourself though. |

Christistruth00: If your mother is Nigerian and your father is not you claim your Mothers State of Origin
People Claiming mothers home state is too common in the South West especially if the Person is living in his mums home state he is considered to be a son of the Soil he will automatically be entitled to claim everything the indigenes are claiming You're still talking about Nigerian citizenship via one's mother being a Nigerian. This is about the state of origin of people who are a product of inter-ethnic union. While it is common in the South West for someone with a non-Yoruba father to claim their Yoruba mother's state as their state of origin, some regions in Nigeria will never entertain that. And even in the South West, if such person decides to go for an elective position, opposition politicians will employ their non-Yoruba paternal parentage against them. Otunba Gbenga Daniel faced something like that in Ogun when some politicians used rumours that his father was Urhobo-Isoko from Delta state to campaign against him. As much as Yorubas are open-minded when it comes to things like this, don't act like eyebrows won't be raised if someone named Chukwuemeka Nwankwo wants to represent Shagamu in the National Assembly just because his mother comes from Shagamu. |

Christistruth00: Not true
You become a Nigerian Citizen once one of your Parents is Nigerian and if it is your mother you will naturally claim her place
Alhaji Shugaba’s Case at the Supreme Court settled the Matter
Sugaba was a famous Politician from Borno who was deported to Chad by President Shagari and his Political opponents who claimed his father was from Chad The Supreme Court ruled that Sugaba was a Nigerian since his mother was from Maiduguri and he was born in Nigeria Well, this is about state of origin and not about Nigerian citizenship though. |

U wanna compare French league with the Italian league?? u are a joke... name one great coach in France apart from pochetino ...and also name a big player that's not in PSG...lets start from there.... Ronaldo joined Italian league and TV stations started scrambling for Italian league TV rights , thats y we watch it on DSTV... seems same will not happen to Messi and the French league ...I guess he doesn't command that authority Alaye go and sit down, you have no point. Says "less talk and more action," proceeds to have a meltdown in a not-here-not-there epistle about how his pants and handkerchiefs are at the Bernabeu Museum. World class player, among the greatest players of all time, wealthy, has won pretty much all there's is in football bar the world cup, and yet a utterly touchy, easily-triggered, oversensitive crybaby. Apparently, this baby in an adult's body wants no speculation to disseminate about whether he's staying at Juve or not? Same speculation that's made about other players? How this dude feels victimized and made a normal transfer speculation about his next move - which is done about other players - an attack on his person is amusing and utterly laughable. Is this even for real? So surprised his sisters haven't written their own version already. |

If only Yoruba Muslims could open their eyes and Watch how they claim they are one with Fulani Jihadist Any Yoruba Muslim who stupidly thinks they're one with Hausas and Fulanis because of religion, or advocate for Sharia in Yorubaland will have to go to the North to enjoy Sharia with their Hausa and Fulani Muslim brethren. Acidosis: The answer is simple: stop derailing and focus on the Taliban issue. Give one reason why the US should support Taliban in Afghanistan (or Sharia in Nigeria). What the hell are you on about? Where in my comment did I suggest that America should support the Taliban? Or you even think America would not support the Taliban if doing so would protect her interests? International politics is not as simplistic as you're making it out to be. It is a chess game and not about morality. The US, UK, Russia, China etc are all predators. Perhaps you aren't aware of how America heavily financed Bin Laden's mujahideen fighters against the Soviet Union during the Soviet-Afghan war, only to later ferociously hunt down the same Bin Laden as a terrorist (he was indeed a terrorist) when he no longer served their interests? You think America's interventions in weak sovereign countries are all about altruism and not about imperialism and opportunism? Hollywood has successfully done a number on you. |

Reading the pro-America/West and anti-China and Russia comments on here has just made me realize how utterly effective America's propaganda machine - Hollywood - has successfully brainwashed people. Which is no surprise how Hollywood will paint American invaders/imperialists in sovereign countries as heroes while the people fighting the imperialists against the invasion of their own country are automatically terrorists.
If not, Why should America and the West be able to protect their own interests in Afghanistan while China and Russia are the "bad guys" for also protecting their own interests? Do these people think the Americans are in Afghanistan for altruistic purposes? Both the Americans/Westeners on one hand, and Russia and China on the other hand have their own sinister motives in Afghanistan. They both don't have the interests of the Afghan people at heart. So, why are China and Russia the "bad guys" while the Americans are the "good guys"? Can someone explain this to me? |
