I just dey look dem as dem dey celebrate Hisense. The only Hisense appliance I have in my house now is my washing machine, and it's just because I've not gotten all the money I need to get the LG I want.
The first problem I have with Hisense is the one year warranty. If they trust the quality of their products so much, they should give 2 years like LG.
2 years ago, a friend of mine whose Hisense TV went bad took it to Fouani and they said to replace the screen was N200k. Funny thing was that brand new of the TV right there in the same store was N198k back then. The matter nearly off me!
Finally, consider the power consumption, especially when dealing with cooling and heating devices. My LG Fridge is about 400L and only 110W. I bought 2 units of 1HP regular Hisense ACs in early 2021 and a unit of 1.5HP LG Inverter AC. The way one of those Hisense ACs would send my 6kVA generator vibrating and shaking, I knew something was wrong. A single 1HP Hisense AC was consuming more than twice the power of a 1.5HP LG Inverter AC instead of about the same power or at the most, one and half times. Please don't get me wrong, the Hisense AC cool quite well, but the power consumption was a big problem.
I uninstalled them within a few months and sold them here on Nairaland. I'm still planning to replace with 2 units of 1HP LG Inverter AC.
Once my money is complete to buy my LG washing machine, I'll rid my house of the last Hisense appliance. I can't deal!
