Personally am proud of ur achievement so far. Welcome to the world of renewable energy. Your drive will inspire others that solar is do-able , however, you need to state ur location&what app contact for u to access help from any willing to send unused PV to u.
As for ur link regarding USB charger. It is ridiculous you intended to start with such. No matter how u share it, u will soon find out it is a waste of effort. Pls look for something better. If you can afford to download up to 150 videos on renewable energy then u can afford some thing like 400w or 500w micro inverter. I saw one in abuja few weeks ago less than 10k it will serve you beyond ur venture.
Am sure u will get help from gurus soon.
Cheers!

I thank you so much for your response. A good student says what is on his mind so he can be corrected. I posted the link and my thoughts on the USB device expecting one of two things, approval or disapproval by the experts. I have seen some of the inverters you posted but not sure about their durability plus I thought I would be getting better efficiency as it would be DC to DC. I'm just glad I mentioned it.

As for the video, yes I have downloaded that much but over a period of over 2 years. Anytime I'm able to buy data, especially GLO #500 weekend plan, I will download with an app I have (tubemate) which allows me to shoose what resolution I prefer which keeps data usage down. I can download tens of video with just 1 gig.

@ Bigrovar, DMerciful, GeorgeD, Kiekie1, dapsyra, efuro, Chris81964, JUO, and others not mentioned.

First I want to thank God for your lives and knowledge. I want to also thank you for not keeping what you know to yourselves.

I have been a regular on this thread for about 2 years, learning and learning and learning. I have downloaded more than 150 videos from YouTube including those of Mr Chris and Kiekie1 (those videos on power generation during rain showers are eye openers). So while I learn, and because I do not have a job, I have concentrated on how I can benefit from solar considering our grid situation.

I received a cc from someone I met on nairaland on another thread. We got talking and he shared his problem with his solar setup. He said he wasn't getting charge on cloudy days with his 30amps/100v mppt cc as against what he read, but seem OK on sunny days. Immediately I new the panels were in parallel, which he confirmed from his installer. By the power given to me by this house, I confidently told him to tell his installer, who seem used to pwm only to change all 4x100w panels to series. The guy refused until the owner assured him to take blame if anything goes wrong. He is a happier man now, he has since installed another 100w panel in his shop to power a rechargeable fan and small TV. I could not be there because of the distance, but I gave 'technical support'. So I own this cc to the house.

Now I want to make use of this by starting a recharge card shed where I can use solar to charge phones. So I'm here to appeal to people who God have blessed to help me with panel of up to 100w, since this is a 15a mppt controller, I will prefer 2 pieces of 50 watts to maximize output. I have approached a battery charger (i know car battery is a no no) in my area to help with a car battery I can manage till I'm able to buy a 50AH battery, which I believe should be enough since I'm going to be using the power as I generate. I dug deep to find an item on aliexpress which erase the use of inverter to reduce cost and increase efficiency, I hope. It's a battery to USB device, 5 pieces should be enough to start with. And for light, one or two LED dc bulbs should do. https://m.aliexpress.com/s/item/32524497188.html

I have to also say I want to use this as a stone to kill 2 birds. When you tell people something, especially an area like mine, they want to see it to believe. Once I start this, it will help in no little way to convince shop owners and the likes to embrace portable solar setup. Thank you all for your time.

House pls help,

I have a paypal account which I use occasionaly to shop online with my UBA and Diamond cards. My first question is, can I still use any of these cards to shop on aliexpress. I have been hearing some cards have been barred from international use, but I can see from here GTB can still be used with limit.

My second question is, can I add a friend GTB card to my paypal, can paypal see the card is not issued in my name, or do I just create a new paypal account in my friends name and make my orders in his name. He does not do online anything, he was using it to trade currency between Nigeria and Benin Republic before and now the business has stopped, so he is willing to let me use it to keep the account active.

Thanks.

Ok, but I wonder why your freight/service charge is exactly as the amount seller offers to send it if i ordered directly. Anyway, I wish to start something with you, so I'm paying for the item and these two small pieces, while hoping that you can include the 2 without freight fee. grin

About going green and stream water. I think borehole can do anything stream water can do, I stand to be corrected. Delfarm in igbariam anambra state is a developing farm in partnership with shongai farm, I was there, they strive on borehole despite been a large farm with varieties of crops and trees.

You're right about borehole with green energy setup, I'm only being cautious about the cost so start up can be easy. Your 2 plots beside your pond is VERY useful also. I'm ready anytime you are sir.

noblefarm:

I have land and the 100k u need. If u can relocate to kwara and ready to leave in the farm then we good to go. And for all looking for land I have over 200 plots of land for farming.
The land is in a village in kwara state, no light and no water. Tho will put borehole but that's wen am sure ill see ppl that have ideas and that is ready to work.

Oga I DO NOT MIND KWARA OR THE VILLAGE AT ALL. I rather stay in the village and make my money than stay in the city and continue to struggle. The only issue here is borehole instead of natural water, because I have other things to do with the water that I believe anyone will love. My plan is to go completely GREEN. With natural water around, it would not take long before my oga start building his/her own house in the farm for weekend stay if not permanent stay. Sir, to me the only particular thing that makes a city a city is electricity, other things follow. I have this covered, its my hope that it will interest you. But if we have to start with a borehole, so be it, we can always get another farmland with a river or stream later, that may even be closer to you than you know. I want to thank everyone who have contributed. God bless you all.

Actually, you can get a land if you are really keen.

Bro, I'm more than keen, just that I don't have the land and fund to do what I very much love to do. I would not mind a little help, or partnership, that 100k doenst even need to pass through me, plus I'm ready to be in the farm on a permanent basis. Its an idea I have been sitting on for sometime, like I said, I'm handicapped.
Agriculture / 5k-10k Everyday Sales From 4 Plots All Year Round. Partner Needed. by NextDayPn: 4:41pm On May 19, 2016
I will try to be as brief as I can. First let no one think I am after anybody's money, I have an agricbuzz idea, but have no land and fund to put it in practice. All that is required is a minimum of 4 plots close to a river or stream. The land can be in acres, I'm just saying something can be started with just 4-6 plots, in fact, starting anything low is always the best. I'm ready to be in the farm 24hrs. The start up fund would be 100k-120, depending on some factors. (Again that doesn't have to pass through me, my partner handles things while I just supervise). That is all I can say for now, let's talk if you're inline with new ideas. nextday69@yahoo.com

With about 100k with it, I can start to make 10k everyday after 3 months all year round, rain or no rain. This is no hoax, I have an agric business I have developed, sadly I do not have the land and fund to start.

Science/Technology / Re: Self-powered (fuelless) Generator Design by NextDayPn: 6:38pm On May 01, 2016
Pakingzzz:
The topic is quite complicated.. There are things such as fuelless generator if you can permit that lexical structure. But lots of critical features ought to be adhered to, most importantly; resonance.
There are free energy if you can permit that too. We actually use them but reckon we don't.
Mind you, the battery you think that powers your gadget doesn't produce electricity. The battery uses its chemical energy to produce dipoles. When these dipoles are created electrons surges from the vacuum to kill those dipoles. It is this electrons that you mistake to be coming from the battery.. But the true fact is; the battery just keep using up its chemical energy to create the dipoles.
This phenomena holds true only when a connection is established from the positive terminal to the negative terminal of the battery.
Secondly, how do you reckon the power holding managing to send electricity from the power station to your end using three single wires without a neutral?
They bury their neutral wire in their vicinity and send only the three phase live wires to the user. All the user does at the step down transformer end is to bury a wire deep into the ground and they now have a 'neutral' wire to go with the 'live' wire. So the earth has served as a wire right? Quite weird! But that is what gets done.. When last were you told that the earth could pass as a wire?
These are things some kabals Dont want you to be in the know.
The big generators you think that burn fuels and generate electricity Don't actually do so.. They rather create a disturbance (dipoles) at the local vicinity (wire connection). The electrons that surges in from the ambience background to scatter the disturbance (dipoles) are what you use as electricity. So you get sold on the idea you are being given electricity generated directly from the generators.
So they want you to believe, and they are silly happy you did and have been doing.

Keep it coming man, I'm loving this, keep it coming.

You wrote 'If it can be connected to a multipoint AP at 6km away' as if I hold the key to make it do longer range. I told you in a honest way what I have achieved with it and what the manufacturer say. If you need more info about it, you can do a search.

Let me tell you a couple of other things I know. 1 nanobeam is stronger than the tiny nanostation. 2, you will always get more gain/range with ANY radio when you do point to point than you will with multipoint.

About your offer, I can not leave it for ANYTHING less than 20k. Thank you.

The range I used it for was slightly above 3km. The difference between this and new was just about 45-50 days it was hanging on the pole outside, I still have all the mail sent and received from the company that sold it to me, the dates and the date I put it here can be checked. I'm only saying this to point out that it was not very used. Though used is used, even if it was a day. You can tell me what you want to offer, no harm in that. Thank you

I'm not sure about 8km point to multipoint, though its rated by the manufacturer to be able to do 15+ km, that I want to believe is point to point. The price is 25k.
