Onyiridike:
Before you call people illiterate i.e if you actually understand the meaning of that word, try and understand their point.

The money was given to them to make them understand bla bla.... Where did you get that or it is just a figment of your imagination?

And you are even calling others illiterates. When money is given to the best graduating students from the best universities in the country, do you need a native doctor or a suitsayer to understand that the prize was meant to reward them for their performance?

If that is not the case why was not the money given to every graduate? Why were they singled out?
What's dis one saying? I never knew that there is a rule that graduates with outstanding performance should be given cash award, and huge amount at that grin. If u say I'm talking based on imagination, pls tell me where u get the inspiration that best graduating students should be given huge amount of money as reward for their performance. What I know is that they are recognised with presentation of things like plaques etc, although sometimes with some token. Note that outstanding performance is not the end itself but a means to the end. If a graduate is truly brilliant, presentation in cash award is not the reward but rather what he is able to achieve for the benefit of the society will fetch him mouth watering material benefits. Poverty has reduced us to just be thinking of the immediate material benefits of our work rather than thinking of how we can give to the society before demanding for our rewards. Even in other countries u are talking about, what they do is just rewarding these researchers for their outputs rather than on account of being the best when u have not made any impact. Any award based on academic performance is strictly presentation of things like souvenirs, plaques, letter of commendation etc. Get ur facts right pls. And lastly, I did not quote u cos I really hate arguing with ladies (as suggested by ur registered gender). And reference was never made to u in my post, so pls keep off my mention.

Noo. don't go. I need to change that phucked up mentality of yours. Life is dangerous with people like you walking around. You are part of the reason Nigeria is corrupt. Everything is about money and getting it anyhow. Please come back so i can educate.
Don't argue too much with an illiterate. Their belief is that this cash award is the payment for the excellent performance. This cash was just given to make them understand that the society recognises the excellence while the actual rewards awaits them as they impact on the society.

NOTHING BEYOND WHAT HE WAS STATUTORILY ENTITLED TO. This alone shows that he was entitled to what he had collected. The issue of whoever actually credited his account from the presidency for whatsoever reason is non of his biz and is entirely of no use as long as it is his entitlement. What should be an issue is; was he paid more than what he is entitled to. Is this not common sense for God's sake? Or how was the payment of his entitlement from Dasuki of any comparative advantage to him?

That is where the senslessness of Buhari's government and people like you clearly comes to the open. No normal persons will support corruption. When two, three or even more thieves are there, it ia just natural to try all of them. It is damn bad to go after those who do not have saviour, who are minority, those who belong to 5%.
look at the whistol blown by Jubrin of the house of rep. That is one of the biggest corrupt cases, Buhari will look the opposite side but when it come to GEJ and his family, Buhari will autimatically develop extra ordinary powers and energy. If GEJ is from the north or Yoruba, would Buhari even think of trying his family? I can bet you that Buhari will never come out with any good results because nature will never support those who oppress, who undermind, those who desregards for unjuest course.
Is GEJ with his entire years of service, as a deputy governor, governor, vice president and finally become president is still the poorest amont the past presidents and head of states. Let us wait.
Sambo Dasuki and Shehu Shema are from Imo and Anambra state respectively grin. Hypocrisy is worse than cluelessness grin.
