Venus cannot support either with its hot temperatures and clouds of sulfuric acid below its atmospheres. Please, 'potential' to support life is a huge contrast from 'life found in a planet'.

The nebula is a cloud of gas and dust from which the solar system emerged - hypothesis. Are you trying to deceive yourself or your hearers? It is a theory. Besides, if the universe sprang from nothing I guess you are okay with the fact that a cloud of dust and gas sprang from emptiness.

You should be the one questioning your knowledge which makes you question everything but accept everything science says without questioning it to the extent of parading theory as fact.

His father will still be his father and there is always room for reconciliation even if it doesn't look promising at the moment but taking this step is widening the gap between where they are and that possibility. It is easy to tell the boy to air his father's flaws to the world but if your family ties is as thick as that between you and a distant neighbour by all means bring down the hammer on your relationship.

They don't need any round table discussion for the womans safety Biko and Emeka is not ready to forgive from the look of things. Perhaps, but I hope you know you are critically judgemental regarding Emeka Ike. His side of his story has easily been discounted because his ex-wife refuted his claims while their son spoke up regarding separate issues he has with his father. The Bible is a collection of stories some of which contain reflections of the cultural settings the stories are based in. Stories are not evidence or else every tale ever told is just as equally true as any other which is obviously not true. Your bible is not any more evidence for anything other the culture of its time than Cinderella or Grimm's tales. In order to show me that the Bible is true you need evidence outside of the stories. And one feature of stories is you can make them mean almost anything. The same book you claim says the world is a sphere is also the same book people say it is flat also quote so between you and them who is correct? Only external evidence can show who is correct. Simply saying something is true doesn't make it so.

Talk full of air. Where in the Bible is it said that the earth is flat? Please quote the chapter and verse in the Bible that said the earth is flat. You have ignored the fact that the book of Isaiah was carbon dated to around 800 BC. This means it is almost 3000 years old. Even if the Bible was a collection of stories, you cannot be blind to the fact that it casually gave information that humanity had to wait thousands of years to be able to verify with technology. The Bible is replete with scientific facts that no one can contradict or refute. It is pulsating with accuracy. The prophecies of the Bible concerning the future are seen to be manifesting before your very eyes. Before 1948, there was no nation called Israel. In fulfillment of Biblical prophecies they returned to their land in ships as the Word of God declared and became a nation in 1948. Do these things sound like fairytale to you?

The only way to be certain of anything is to have material evidence in my opinion. We have memory tests, we have intelligence tests, we have MRI that can show the brain at work and how it corresponds with your thinking process but you want me to ignore all of this and accept your conjectures based off of the writings of more primitive people. If energy cannot be created or destroyed how did the energy that exploded materialize from nothing? What caused the explosion? The Big Bang theory only addresses evolution of the universe, not its creation. What about the law of entropy which is the second law of thermodynamics? It clearly refutes the theory of the Big Bang. According to it, without an external force, a system or natural process will find disorder or entropy staying the same or increasing as time goes on. This clearly sinks the idea of order arising from randomness. Of course there are other theories but there lies the issue. You have no evidence for the explanation of the universe and yet you say it is the only way you can objectively verify anything. This is exactly what God said in His Word that He will catch the wise in their own craftiness in Job 5:13.

Simple, the accuracy of the Word of God cannot be swept aside with argument or denial. Look into the Quran, or Hindu religious texts you will see erroneous depictions of the earth as well as history that is shrouded in mystery.

Not so with the Word of God. In Isaiah 40:22, it says God sits enthroned above the circle of the earth. This is more than 3000 years before the exploration of man into space. If the text had said otherwise you atheists would have found extreme pleasure in dragging believers with that very verse, but now you have found it accurate you have become mum. Does your god, the Spaghetti Monster, or Allah, Krishna, etc have any such accuracy to their name?

Wait, it gets even better. The Greeks believe the earth is carried by Atlas on his shoulders. The Muslims believed the earth was flat according to their book, and there was no indication of what the earth looks like in outer space. Not so with the Bible. In Job 26:7, it says

He spreads out the northern skies over empty space; he suspends the earth over nothing.

The book of Job is one of the oldest books in the Bible. It is more than 3000 years old. We are only able to know this through the satellite launched to space and the earlier space exploration. In the time of Job, there were no such mechanisms. How much more accurate can that get?

Wait, there is more. In verse 5 it says:

The earth, from which food comes, is transformed below as by fire

We all know that tectonic shifts or plate motion is the reason for the formation of continents from one super continent called Pangea. This tectonic shifts arise from the heat in the earth's crust which also causes earthquakes. That way, the earth is being transformed. Now, Job was not a scientist. This text has been around for millenniums. This tells you that God exists. There was no way for mere men, without advanced science as we have today are accurately able to specify facts that agree with empirical evidence today.

Lastly, Archeological discoveries have never contradicted the Word of God. Rather, they have proven the accuracy of the texts in the Bible. This points I have raised are incontrovertible proof that God made all that there is.

I haven't skipped anything because that's not what you asked me. You are the one claiming these things where made by your god so the onus is on you to provide the evidence that it is so. Your incredulity about the natural processes that bring about the formation of the sun, earth and life are all your problem not mine, so it all lies on you to provide the evidence that these natural processes are being conducted by your god.

When you see a work of art, a paint or picture you do not ask who painted it but you subconsciously accept the fact that a painter is behind it. The painter may be anonymous, he may be dead or alive, he may be black or white. You don't care or seek evidence of a painter behind a paint because you know brush strokes cannot move on their own to create a logical picture. You just know someone is behind it though that someone may not be known to you.

You can admit testimonial and documentary evidence in the court of law but when it comes to the bible you consider it hogwash. This double standard is glaring. As with the painter, who may leave a note through an agent to verify his ownership of the paint such written evidence is admissible or considered authentic enough to lay his claim to the paint. This is exactly what happened thousands of years ago before any exploration into space was made, He who formed the earth said it is a circle in His Word. A manufacturer has a manual of how a product or device operates. The bible is also God's manual of his creation. Galileo would have been saved the stress of proving that the earth is round if only he had simply made reference to the book of Isaiah.

It is gross fallacy to think empirical evidence can match every kind of reality. For example, do you have any explanation for how the imagination can be objectively observed? You can't see mine neither I yours. Does that mean it doesn't exist? Science can tell there is imagination but cannot prove it. Maybe you can provide the empirical evidence of memory, consciousness, and morality.

On the nature of the existence of God, who created and exists outside time and space, asking evidence of His existence is simply shallow thinking. Scientific methods used to verify the existence of anything is severely limited to phenomena subject to time and space. It is like fitting the entire universe into your little laboratory. As impossible as it is there is more hope for that than to fit God, who created the universe and exists outside it, into observable, testable methods. It is like looking for the evidence of the presence of a matchbox company in the matchbox product itself. Lols.

Finally, an artist signs his name on his paint. That is his badge. You can read this last bit up and make your findings. DNA mapping has been discovered to include the name of God in every living thing. The numerological DNA sequence reads YHWH in the Hebrew language. It is encoded in the DNA of all living things. Gravity is not random, we can see that it is proportional to mass and inversely proportional to distance. If a god was real and able to do anything then he wouldn't need such a mechanism since he could just as easily make the sun revolve around the earth.

It is easy to say nuclear fusion of hydrogen atoms to form helium is the reason for the sun's self-sustaining energy over billions of years. That is like saying a car moves when the engine burns fuel and converts the heat of the fuel into traction by which the car can operate. What company designed the car? If I wanted a sun or moon with my name on it and customized to my desire where do I go to have one made for me? What designed it? Did the sun create itself? Did the earth create itself? Did life create itself? If so, why is life absent on other planets we know? These are the questions you have skipped skillfully.

Going by that, two days (two thousand years) is well within the context of 'soon' or 'quickly'. You can't deny knowing how people usually describe the passage of weeks and months as fast by saying, "Days are fast!". It is not even two days (two thousand years). Yes, your god seems to be waiting for technological innovation to spread his message. God does not count time the way you do. After the fall of Adam, He did not send Jesus immediately to die for the sins of mankind. It would take more than 5,000 years later for the Lord Jesus to appear from the time of Adam. When the Israelites were enslaved by the Egyptians God waited 400 years to send a deliverer to them. If the Lord Jesus had returned before now, how would the prophecy about the Antichrist and the completion of the third temple in Israel be fulfilled? We see that already happening in our time but the end will not be until this is done. God has laid a calendar of events that must be fulfilled before the end. That is the reason for the delay besides His mercy and grace of repentance. Lastly, before technology God spread His Word; without it His Word will still be spread by leaps and bounds. Nothing can hinder its progress. Nothing and you know it.

Besides, I also mentioned people where the light of civilization has not shone. Do they read books, watch TVs, surf the internet? In the midst of this technological advancement, there are billions without formal education. Many must have heard the word preached in the language they can understand but books and the internet are useless in propagating the gospel to reach this class of people.

God will not exercise His power to appeal to your false sense of righteousness. Your (all men's) righteousness is like used and overused rags in His sight. God will not use His power to erase destruction while sin, the source of destruction, continues unabated. It is exactly like spraying perfume in an environment of garbage dump (sin) to eradicate a stench (destruction). The pleasing aroma lasts only seconds butnit won't take long reality will set in because the stench from the dump persists. This is why the world is reserved for fire to burn up the refuse (the world and all those who have rejected Christ). Until then, God is giving the grace, as long as you still breathe, to change your ways and turn to Him.

A pretty bold thing to say. You and I may die in the next 50, 60 years and Christ may not have returned by then. Why? The Gospel must first be preached to everyone in the world including those who are cut off from civilization. Secondly, the prophecies that precede His return have not come to pass especially the prophecy about the mountain of God (Christianity) being exalted above the world's system of living and His last effort to reach mankind by sending His Spirit of repentance to the whole world so that people will cry in repentance to Him without needing a preacher. As it is appointed for each and every one of us to stand before Christ in judgment, so shall His return. It is appointed and there is no going back. His delay is His grace of repentance to the world to turn from the sins that decay them to His light of salvation.
