ishmael: You have a valid point here. Universities also admit people with less than 5 credits thru Pre-Degree/Remedial programmes. People with passes in maths and english get admitted into the university and later re-write WAEC to make it up. Professors can't teach u what they don't see in the syllabus. The poly curriculum was designed by mostly uni lecturers and profs who made some ammendments and modifications making the poly curriculum richer than that of thier corresponing university curriculum. ishmael: You have a valid point here. i'm accounting grad frm MAPOLY,have been to almighty OAU...Poly grad is better cos of dia modules...for dos dat doesn't hear or knos nothin abt acctancy,i guess u heard d news of ordinary mapoly ND2 lady dat had d best result in Taxation?for more info if u need to know more abt Bsc and HND performance check ICAN bulletins...at uni,with ur bsc edu and masters u can lecture at uni but in Mapoly 'HND'lecturers, u can't c any lecturer without master couple with professional courses cert.1,Mrs Oyebolu is a chartered accountant,chartered banker,chartered stockbroker,and associate member of cost management accountants institute and Nigeria institute of management chartered. She's a fellow of both chartered institute of Bankers of Nigeria (FCIB)and institute of chartered Accountant of Nigeria(FCA) any thin chartered in management area trust me all bagged dat is d only woman given opportunity to lecture at Mapoly HND ACCTANCY,d likes of Adesola,Ademuyiwa,Oguntoyinbo,etc.Thank God for Prof. But we all know d difference btw lecturers and teachers,have tested both uni and poly, i must say Polytechnic isn't home for lazy student... |
