In that case it will have no business going through markurdi or benue at all . Lokoja would be the shortest route but they should be ready to construct so many bridges both across river Niger and river benue including other rivers.

You are right, ieither it passes through Nnsuka to Lokoja or Oboloafor to Lokoja then to Abuja. But going through makurdi or Nassarawa is a long journey and waste of resources, the question should be what is the volume of travellers from benue or Nassarawa to south east or south south and compare it to Lokoja to south east and south south

Amen I want to be surprised, ahhh Alex no no , let’s see but let me tell u , he will join APC in a matter of months , you want to bet?

You are dreaming, with the massive support he is getting from the masses, it will be very stupid and counterproductive to move to APC, Abiains are now LP, every where is LP.

Show me one legacy of Obi that we can see today, just one. Obi has no long term vision and sustainable development plans. All his efforts l, if any, are in the dustbin of history. What about the 250 million laundered by Obi? Why did Obi invest government money in his family business? Is that probity or corruption? Why did Obi keep his state’s money in his bank where he has major shareholding?

You cannot pull wool over our eyes. We know the truth.

Playing politics with UN charity intervention program show the kind of politician Peter Obi is, He is a real snake.

Nigeria has not been sufficient in food production for decades and a few months of any new President is not going to change things that quickly, would Peter Obi reject the UN intervention Program that Nigerians in war torn north desperately need if he was the president in charge ?

The Anambra that he governed for 8 years what food production is Anambra self sufficient in with his intervention ?

I want this Peter Agulu to become president even if it is 2 years, this mugu is going to be worst in all indices when he show his true colour.

One thing you forget is that Tinubu is the president not Obi, and let him Obi become the president first before all your Sudo indices.
"You can not shave a man's head in his absence".

Tinubu is currently the president and he is falling in duties.

There are indications, however, that the Southeast governors will press that the excess 47MW be sold to the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) for use in the five Southeastern states

No, I don't support this. The excess should be used to service the remaining LGA's in Abia outside the 9 Aba ringed fence LGA's. At least they can enjoy 10-15 hrs of steady light everyday.
Far better than other parts of Nigeria
I know Ottti is wise enough to know what to do.

Otti said he has started talks with EEDC to hands off from the remaining LG so that the excess MW will be channeled to the remaining LG, most especially to Umuahia. But I think it will be a hard stuff to go by because that man Emeka Offor, is a greedy man

Thank You.

So are all the turbine ready?
Will the 9 LGAs exhaust all the turbine when they are fully integrated. ?

How many MW will it take power 1000 household that have all the basics amenities.

And how many MW will it take to power about 100 average industries..?

The expert says Aba as a hole needs 92mw that means with the current industries and will still have excess of 48mw. And again there is nothing stopping them expanding to 1000mw in the nearest future. So let the industries keep coming because there is room for expansion.

My friend the world has progressed, they have pipelines even under the ocean talkess of on land surface, allocate contracts to private investors to build and secure pipelines within their states and domains. Pay them monthly stipends generated by sales from electricity. This is done all over the world. Its called midstream.

Yes, you are very correct, but in your write-up you said "all over the world" and am sure the northern part of Nigeria is included, right? So what stops them from implement this noble idea all this years? They have being in power the most since 1960, to me it's lack of knowledge and exposure. As far back as 2003 or 2004 geometric started this project and now completed and commissioned in 2024, the project is still one of its kind in Nigeria. and we have leaders that wasted time, money looking for how to fix our power problem. A project as geometric can be achieved In just 3 years.

Oga Northern Nigerian can not give what they don't have, Period.

Nigeria can never develop because our citizens are illiterate. The power stations which Nigeria is building now in generation capacity it is equivalent to the power station which order African countries were building in 1970s.

Nigerian people and their illiteracy is another thing look at history you will find that most African countries were Building 300 megawatts watt power stations in the 70s and 80s

The Northern states are, not the southern states, at least I can speak for south east, we are not illiterate

DANGOTE AND SAMAD RABIU SHOULD COME TOGETHER AND ELECTRIFY THE COMMERCIAL HEART OF KANO AS WELL.

NIGERIA HAS GIVEN THEM ENOUGH MONOPOLY BUSINESS FOR OVER 20 YEARS. (Billions in Dollars).

IT WONT HURT THEIR POCKETS TO CALL OTHER WEALTHY DONORS AND GIVE BACK TO THE SOCIETY.

WE KNOW THEY ARE DOING A LOT BUT IT WONT HURT TO DO MORE.

You guys are forgetting something, which is the "Gas", how would a state like Ekiti or Oyo and Kwara access Gas. This thing are not easy at all, it was easy for geometric because the gas is in abia state and not even that far from the power plant

Eeyah.. while I share ur sentiment about Cardoso little experience in banking or economics, d performance of the naira is not much with d CBN!! They can only manage/optimise it..
Naira performance is strictly based on the fundamentals of demand and supply of fx.
Now d CBN can practice voodoo economics by selling d $ at a LOW unreal rate of N500, N700 and keep borrowing dollars to fulfill such obligations.
OR the GOVT(not CBN directly) can create systems & policies by which FX earnings can increase and/or FX demand can naturally reduce(not gag demand)

You guys have started defending failure again, why are you guys this wicked. The economy is going down day by day and all you do is praise singing. Next 4 month will make this administration four years and nothing is moving. You people should please fear God.

If Otti can do this in less than 10 months Aba will be something else in 4years .

I agree with you in all your previous comments, but not this. Soludo is not the worst in the east currently: Enugu State has a governor who is doing nada, which is why the state no longer features in any discussion about development in the Southeast. Soludo might not be the revolutionary solution he campaigned to be, but he's doing something. Peter Mba is doing nothing but wear blue suit like a corporate monkey and mix Igbo with English like a badly educated village champion.
Peter Mba is currently the worst governor in the Southeast.

No you are wrong, it's my governor and his name is Hopelessness
