Many of these skills require recertification which many don’t have the time, right visa or money to pursue. Plumbing in Nigeria and plumbing in Uk are not same thing. Fashion designing - its cheaper to use Nigerian based one and ship to abroad. Hair stylists are making money but its now saturated

Exactly my point

I believe everything you have said.

This are my reasons.

1) I stopped going to church because I got bored and tired of the church services.

The sermons was no longer ministering to me. I go to church empty hoping to be filled but Instead I come back very empty.

I was no longer blessed after going to church.

There was no difference between me going to church and not going to church.

The services became long and tiring.



2) Also I stopped going to church immediately after COVID.
Why?
I realized that COVID happened. Everybody was at home for 3 months+. Nobody went to church yet God stilled heard and answered our prayers.

God protected us during those tough times even without us going to church.

I was waiting for men of God who show power and miracle to their members every Sunday to finally use the opportunity by rising up to perform miracles on infected COVID patients and heal COVID patients but no one did.

God used COVID-19 pandemic to make people realize that they do not need to run to a place to seek him, worship him and even get a Miracle from him.


3) Things became very hard for me while going to church. I graduated Uni, searched for a job, I couldn't get. I struggled financially so much while going to church. I struggled to get a job which I couldn't get. I started a small business. My little business struggled hard. It was as if my prayers will not been heard by God. It was tough. It's still tough. I prayed and prayed yet things didn't change. I just got discouraged.

To be honest, I just got tired and lost interest in going to church.

Why did you stop going to church?

Before you Japa, try and ask people with these skills who have japad.

There is this narrative we have been told by those who japad before the "Japa Wave" that before you Japa to any UK, Canada, USA, Europe or any country, learn these skills such as
-Fashion Design (Tailoring)
-MakeUp
-Shoe Making
-Barbing
-Hair Styling
-Hat Making
-Bead Making
-Plumbering
and many more....

The narrative says if you learn these skills, you will be in MONEY abroad

They also say that if you learn these skills, you will not look for job abroad.

They say these skills will give you a soft landing when you land abroad.

My people, They are all LIES.

LIES from the out of hell.

I know 4 people who were professional Fashion Designers in Nigeria. They japad 2-3 years ago to UK. Guess what they have been doing since then? Yes you guessed right. CARE WORK.

I know 3 people who were professional Hair Stylist and Barbers in Nigeria who japad to Canada. They went since Covid in 2020. Guess what they have been doing since then? You guessed right? Brown-Collar jobs. Nothing related to their Barbing or Hair styling skill.

Not talk about bead making or heart making becos those ones are the very worst skills one should learn.

The 2 guys I know who were professional Shoe Makers in Nigeria (not repairers o). They make professional high class shoes. They even have a joint shoe boutique at Lagos Island.

They both japad to Europe 5 years ago, one is a Caregiver while the other works as a Forklift operator.

This is 5 years for them ooo..

Hmmm...

So what is the point of learning these skills in Nigeria before you Japa with the hope that they will give you a soft landing in terms of survival when you finally move abroad.


Even the Nigeria plumber in UK who japad cant even plumb with all his years of experience and certification. Baba na security guard for supermarket.

It's just not making sense atall
