Mathewrichard99:This fee is just per semester now. The entire fee for the whole program is N950,000. That is alot of money. I won't encourage anyone to spend such amount of money for a program in Nigeria which will not yield tangible dividend. |

Hello my people. Just coming online. How is your evening going? Please when are they ending this season of Big Brother because I don tire. Somebody should explain to me how Doris was evicted while standing fan Sultan, mopping stick Zita, parlour chair Denari, center table Tracy, turning garri Kaybobo, television set Bright Morgan are all still in that house sitting pretty? I don't get like seriously? Doris was one of the most interesting and entertaining housemates this season. Denari should be thankful to Doris because she practically gave him screen time on the show. Make dem just do end this show because these housemates are not even interesting to watch. They should do better in their selection next time.. |

Xscape1993:After what one of your Drivers at Iyana-Ipaja, Lagos park did to me on Wednesday? I reported to ur Customer Care and they refused to help me. I still have your Customer Care WhatsApp screenshots and Emails telling me their customer that they will not help me. I have never seen such height of Wickedness both from your Customer Care and your Driver's. Anyone that uses LIBRA MOTORS for travel or Logistics should get ready to cry blood. Don't say I didn't warn you. I will send the story to Instablog to post so that the whole world can judge the case. |
geezprince:I'm telling you. It's sad to watch. |
Kola should stop this. Dede is obviously playing you. Using Koyin to make u jealous and you are falling hard for it. Guy stand up. Remember you are the finest guy in the house this season. You need someone to remind you of that. Wake up. Carry yourself up high and face your life with other housemates. Na she go dey chase u |

Hello Everyone. Something happened today and I want you all living abroad to learn from this story. So today, I got a call from a client I have not met before. During his introduction, he said he lives in USA and that someone referred him to me. I introduced myself aswell. After a short exchange of pleasantries, he went straight to tell me he wanted to buy plots of land in Lagos state. He said wanted an area that is already fully developed. He went on to mention areas like Egbeda, Ikeja, Surulere, Maryland, Yaba, VI, Lekki Phase 1 etc. I told him there are no available plots of lands in these areas because they are Lagos Mainland and Island areas. These areas are already fully occupied with buildings. No virgin lands here. Even if he will see, he won't be able to afford it cos they will run into hundreds of millions which I know he doesn't have. I told him I once saw a plot at Ikeja for 450m and I know he doesn't have such amount of money. He insisted he wanted these parts of Lagos because he wants a developed area he can buy a land and start building. He said some people have been telling him to check Ibeju-Lekki areas. I told him Ibeju-Lekki areas are complete BUSHY areas and if he buys there, in the next 20years, the area would still not have developed still. I showed him some plots I have at Ikola-Ipaja area, close to Iyana-Ipaja and he loved it so much. The price of a plot there is about 35m with CofO. He loved it together with the price which he said he was very okay with. We discussed further on them and then he told me he wants to get five plots. Two plots for him and three plots in his children's name. He didn't say anything about wife. I agreed but his request got me so curious so I asked him a question. Now this is where it get interesting. I said "Sir, you are in USA and I'm sure you are living happy there, why did you decide to start buying plots of land in Lagos. Some buy maybe 1 or 2 but you are buying 5 at once. Why? Do u know what he said? He paused for a long while and said this.... "You won't understand. But let me make it brief. I came to USA over 35 years ago in the year 1983 as a young man. I came here and started hustling hard. I did all kinds of jobs. I even went back to University to further my education. I was able to get a Bachelors degree. Ever since I have been in USA, I have watched Nigerians come here and return home. Some return to nothing while others return to something. I came here and spent all my years building life here but the regret I have now is, I did all that without thinking of home. Most of the Nigerians who also came to USA around the time I came in 1983 all have several plots of lands back home in Nigeria. I have NOTHING to my name. Some of them have built houses, duplexes even mansions. I have nothing. Except for the house I was able to acquire here. I recently realized my ex-wife even has 2 plots of lands in her name in Nigeria and a mighty duplex she built in Nigeria without my knowledge. She is currently living in the duplex as we speak. She got them while we were still married here in America and she never told me. After our divorce, she relocated back to Nigeria, opened a supermarket business and is living in her duplex. That was a shocker to me. As If that is not enough, 4 of my Nigerian friends who came to USA around the same time I came just told me they have so many landed properties in their names back in Nigeria. According to them, they were buying them all these years and they never told me. One is even coming back in December to dedicate his new mighty duplex which he built on one of his plots. He showed me the picture but I was angry. Yes...I was angry because these are Nigerians I called my close friends here in USA for so many years. I have been moving with them for years in USA but they never told me what they were doing yet they always ask me about mine. I'm hurt".He ended by saying he will get back to me before the week runs out so we can proceed on the purchase of the plots of land. After the conversation. I just started thinking. His story is sad because it's a mixture of betrayal from people he loves and one of regret due to lack of foresight. This is around past 1.AM here in Nigeria and am still awake thinking about it. That's why I decided to post it here so that our brethren in Diaspora can learn one or two from this man's sad story. May God give everybody abroad foresight so that you won't wake up in 30 years time and start regretting that you did not do what u could have done while you were still young. |
