Government schools have Qualified Teachers. And when I say Qualified Teachers, I mean teachers that studied Education. That means, they passed through Teacher Training either at a College of Education (NCE) or a University (B.ED/ B.SC,B.A+PGDE). Most Private school's do not have such. Some even employ SSCE graduates to teach at the secondary level. Its just like u to take ur sick child to the hospital and u find Nurse Eliza giving your child injection. Go to your child's school tomorrow. Call one teacher out and playfully ask him or her if he or she studied Education. You will be shocked. I am a WAEC Examiner (I mark WAEC Examination). I started marking WAEC immediately after my University education so I know. The failures we see is unbearable. 2 Likes |

I used to hear of Skype. I always wondered what it was like. I had always wanted to try it. I use to hear people say they use it to chat with people abroad. But I never used it. No regrets. Love WhatsApp Video, Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet. I have used all these ones and I'm fulfilled. 1 Like |

All of u that are mentioning PGDE, did u ask him if he has the money for it? PGDE in University of Lagos now is 416,000 Naira o. Federal University o. Can his teaching job enable him raise such? As for going back to do UTME to study whatever in 2025, that is a NO...NO. The Tech world has advanced above University degrees. Just pick a Tech field and get skilled in it. |
