Wow.... How time flies. I opened this thread 2years ago. Today I can proudly say I'm an M. Sc holder. M. Sc Biochemistry. God I'm grateful.

Let us really understand some facts:
1. The presidential election was relatively free and fair not because of the card readers or permanent voters card, rather it was because we had a sitting president who deemed it fit to let the votes of the common man count.
2. An incumbent president who is power drunk can rig any election irrespective of the geopolitical region (whether North or south) where the election was held.
3. We have seen cases in the past where the losers of elections were declared winners, even when it was glaring that they lost. A very good example was the gubernatorial election in Edo State where Prof Osunbor was declared winner even when it was obvious that Adam Oshiomole won.
4. President GEJ knew that rejecting the election results and not conceding defeat will spell doom for this great nation and it is the blood of the common citizens (you and I) that will be spilled. That is the spirit of statesmanship.


CONCLUSION
In my opinion, President Jonathan demonstrated what it means to be a true patriot. He should be applauded by all on this singular act. He was able to tame his hunger for power and reiterated with his actions that his quest for power is not worth the blood of any Nigerian. To me, that is heroic.....

You are right. Dept of economics wrote their entrance exam today. Written and oral exams. They were asked to come for the interview via sms. Got the info 2day

The operator of the computer centre where you applied was supposed to give you your password. To get a new password, you have to come down to Uniben and go straight to the main auditorium. They will give you a new one in matter of minutes.

please i really need your help on this. i shut my system down wrongly because it hanged while i was doing some stuffs. When i later turned it on, it displayed system not shut down properly and gave different safe mode options. pls what should i do

when you started your application process, you were asked to fill in your name and email address. A password and username was sent to that email address. your username is in this format; pgft2013_ xxxxxx for fulltime or pgpt2013_xxxxxx for parttime. The password contains both numbers and alphabets. It contains 8 characters all together. I wish you the best

I went to the school of post graduate studies today. I was told the uploading is in batches and some departments are yet to send the list of those they admitted. So keep checking from time to time. Wish you all good luck.

I dnt think dat ll b a problm. Afterall, we ve some applicants that didnt fill the NYSC-year space because dey were part time students or dey only ve exemption letters.... May God see us thru

I dont agree with u 100% here. 1st, u said transcript is not needed. 2ndly, u said a lecturer will have to recommend u. Then wats the fate of graduate of other universities other than uniben. What is d criterion for recommendation?

Compliment of the evening to you all. I think Alaigoni's information is valid. A friend of mine told me yesterday that her sister was shortlisted for the PG admission. I asked her how her sister knew, she told me it was an insider from her sister's department that told her...

i dnt think there is a transcript request form. Go 2 ur former sch, tel dem to send ur transcript to school of postgraduate studies, uniben, bt i think dat ll involve some amount of money but if u graduated 4rm uniben, u dnt need 2 wori urself abt transcript. For d acknowledgement slip, i think d application slip u downloaded can stand in Lieu of d acknowledgement slip..... Good luck

Is it necessary for applicants that obtained their B.Sc degree at Uniben to also submit their transcripts to the school of post graduate

I believe they are still working on the site... Lets keep our fingers crossed. As at on thursday last week, when i accessed the site, all i saw there was 2011 & 2012 application. Then, on saturday, work was done on the site and then ''2013 application'' was added.... So i think they are still working on it

I noticed the site is not working... I just hope they fix it as soon as possible
