The duration probably kept people away. I personally enjoyed the movie...a lot, but I had to pause several times.

Remember kryptonians in Man of Steel were genetically engineered to be the perfect citizen and follow the roles they were given so you're telling me that the perfect rulers refused to believe the perfect scientist about an impending doom and they also had the ability to terraform planets which Zod used in the movie so they could have terraformed any planet of their choice. Would have made sense if they had someone like Brainiac deceiving them like we see in some other Superman stories.

Well, maybe the politicians who were the rulers were engineered to be stupid like politicians on earth too

But seriously, if you bring a magnifier to every movie, you will find holes like this. Even this new movie had some

I just remembered that in Man of Steel Kryptonians had the power to terraform Earth into Krypton also had interstellar travel but for some reason they couldn't save their planet from exploding.
And this is the movie that is supposedly better than Superman 2025

I think this was explained in the movie. They abandoned their outerspace outpost and overutilized krypton’s resources till its core became unstable and kaboom

How come no one is talking about the costumes or is it just me? I can't be the only one who finds the costume silly especially in contemporary times.

They have to change that thing before Justice League hits. I believe James Gunn will crush it with a Justice League movie though. That's the kind of thing he excels in. Team up films. Superman would have worked better if it was not a Superman solo movie but a film that has Superman as a minor character.

The suits are made by maxwell lord and will be changed later I think. But for superman, I don’t think they’re changing it and I hate the trunk… always hated it

How did the movie have Superman has a minor character? I don’t have the figure for his screen time but he had the most minutes in that movie

The next Avengers movie is the utmost litmus test for this franchise, even that is on shaking legs, i mean they got so spooked that they had to cast a beloved hero in the successful period, as a villain, just to got some sort of fan service going... doesn't bode well at all.

Even his cyphers contained many grammatical errors. His mystery is intriguing but I genuinely think the circumstances helped him rather than his smarts...

His acts spanned a wide region which helped him a lot...
And there wasn't much to go by since there was very little connection between the victims...
And he knew when to stop or he would have been caught

The racism and ineptitude of the cops also aided in his escapes. They were one time called to a crime scene and people described a white male but they put out an apb for a black man.

So many cases like that where serial killers could have been earlier caught but because of racism, they go scot free
