My take on Black Adam: it was decent movie, nothing spectacular. The story and writing was not good enough with the third act being very weak. The movie feels like an episode of one of those DC cartoons I've watched in the past. The weakest link is the lack of mythology, which would have given the story more originality. The visuals are appealing though except for the red clouds in the third act (feels like josstice league again) and the design of sabak.

The characterization of Sabbac himself is weak, no motives, man just want to be evil. 1st DCU weak villain.

I just rewatched ZS Justice League (for like the 3rd time, mainly because I was intrigued by the voices of Steppenwolf and Darkside) and I realized that Wonder Woman's action scenes are mostly accompanied by a 'oooo ooo' song. How did I not notice that earlier?

Way of the water alongside its 3 sequel were shot back to back with a budget of around $1b. So they may need up to that when marketing has been factored in.

Tbh I'm not hyped and don't wish for a Black Adam 2. And I'm also praying and hoping Shazam 2 outgross BA.

But I don't support his idea of killing off Black Adam. He should be as a recurring character in upcoming films as well as face-off with Shazam in the trilogy film.

I want a Black Adam 2, only if they will change the director.

This movie was really enjoyable, without violence man is nothing.
I really loved the dynamic between Hawkman and Black Adam. More of that please James Gunn.
Noah was a good atom smasher and cyclone did her thing with aplomb too.
Amanda Waller, badass as ever.
My only gripe was Dr Fate being nerfed big time, but I understand sha.

He was nerfed, yes. But they cast the perfect man for him, his voice was incredible.
