The Ehor fruit factory was built and sold out under questionable circumstances by the same Igbinedion. It's unfortunate if you don't see the beauty and equipment of our secondary and primary schools. A case in point is my village, Okpekpe. Before Oshiomhole, that community was a pariah settlement. Since Oshiomhole constructed roads to the village and surrounding communities, the community has become a destination for private businesses and even the now famous 10 kilometers World Athletic race was made possible because Oshiomhole constructed road to open up a previously sleeping and unknown rural settlement. Majority of Edo people and Benin Chiefs know he has worked, even past governors, including Ogbemudia himself , even as a PDP chieftain, has on different public fora acknowledged Oshiomhole's stewardship in Edo state. The culprits who were not students from of the University were alleged to have stolen 25 tecno phones, 15 Infinix phones, ten laptops and many others.. They were said to have come all the way from Benin with no other aim but to steal..
In a conversation with one of members of the security committee, he said one of them had come before the other, he then gave a call to the other saying " guy it be like say market dey for this side"..
The culprits were dealt with as the custom of OAU and then paraded.
