In my own opinion, the guy was turned back to Nigeria from Doha for another reason which you have not been told yet.

It is not a MUST to travel 90days before resumption date.

Nigeria- Turkey -Bangkok-Australian is your sure bet

Bangkok (Thailand) and Turkey do not require transit Visa...

1. Make sure that you perfect your driving skill before coming.
2. Come with a Police Check /clearance

3. If your school didnt request an English test, please make sure that you take this exam so that you can change to a cheaper school much later. 90% of schools would require a proof of English test ( IELTS/PTE)

4. Finally, with prior experience, I can help you obtain a certificate Iv in Disability, a Diploma of Community service, Certificate IV in Child, Youth and family intervention And other qualifications. that will enable you to work as a support worker. Officially you don't need a visa but I wont recommend transiting via Singapore, Thailand and others are better

I lodged application that same 24th June
I had to travel to another country to do the medicals. I don’t know of any group online
Medicals : 28th June
Biometrics: 30th June.

Why did you have to stay that long before doing your medicals and Biometrics? Or is associated with when the embassy requested for it?

Why is AHC Pretoria taking so much time to process Australia Student visa for Nigerians.

Initially I heard it takes just 2 to 4wks to get student Visa but now it is not so again

I am currently at the 5th week yet no single response from them.

Is anyone having similar experience?

My lectures started yesterday, my school has given us grace till 5th August after which we should defer.

This is a wrong information, you can actually enter more than four Months before your study starts, all you need to do is get an extra health insurance to cover your period till when your study starts

Have been a silent reader here even way before I got my visa but now I thank God Almighty that I’ll finally be an Australian immigrant ��.
Pls guys I’ll be needing y’all support to make an easy transition to my dream country.
So here are my few questions to those that just recently went that route :

1. Pls what is the best airline to travel with no more than two stops cause am trying to avoid long waiting period at the stop overs so as to ease the journey because I am pregnant?

2. Pls are there any documents or papers I’ll need to take with me to probably show at different boarders or airports to avoid one delay or the other?

3. Pls guys what are the allowed food items that I can take to avoid unnecessary and excessive load.

4. Pls how can I easily get a good accommodation near my campus as my school is Deakin university burhood campus Melbourne Australia?

My intake is this trimester 2, which started already on Monday and so I’ll be traveling first week of August by the special grace of God. So pls if you’d be in my school this trimester or know someone already there, pls kindly link us up for easier settlement cause I wouldn’t mind a shared apartment.
