well yeah,to people who have registered that in there minds. There are A8 owners who will tell you "great car,no major issues"

Maintainance habbit is key. Its a luxury German car. Maintaining an A8 will not be as cheap as the Japs,but its not impossible. If you decide to go for it,do not take anything for granted and please try to read the owners manual-very important-,there,you'll know what the manufacturer wants you to use,when its to be used et cetra.

How hard could it be to simply look at your side view mirrors for God sake. This doesn't freak me one bit.

My dad has been using his 2005 EOD-4cylinder-for 5yrs. Central lock doesn't work anymore and we only use air coditioning for a day after refilling. I wonder what can be done.

LEATHER: Looks good,plus you dont have to worry about stains,all you have to do is clean. BUT! it will toast and iron you posterior on that hot sunny day. Not funny. You most likely will end up sweating-down there of course-even with air conditioning. And then theres the harmattan which is obviously the opposite. I dont know if its just me but when heated up,the interior stays hot for a longer period compared to cloth. CLOTH: I find them very comfortable. They're also durable. The effect of time on cloth is not so..."catastrophic". I've seen old leather seats in a sienna and they looked disease-ravaged,but hey,what do I know.
