Good day everyone, I actually dont know where to post this but I decided to post here because I needed traffic and people to advice me. I'm a guy in my mid 20s I finished from uni 3 years ago and I have been managing and hustling to keep body and soul together

The problem is I have a uncle who is a politician (a second term senator) I have met him several times to help me with a job he keeps telling me he will, this is the 3rd year now and I dont see any progress

The reason why I created this thread in the first place is to ask for advice. I have been working on how to travel out of the country for a while and by the look of things, it might fall in place next year. Should I make the move and continue investing my savings on my travel plans or I should keep waiting on my uncle

Note, he was not the one that got me my present job I got it myself. I don't want a situation where I will invest all on my travel plans then he will show up with an appointment letter the next day.

Should I keep my mind off him helping me once and for all or I should still be expecting, he promised me that he would get me a job next year. Please come to my aid.

All I had was #100 ogi(pap) left in the fridge, I knew I wasn't getting any money for the whole week so I had to rationalise it. I drank the ogi for 3 days once a day for fear of not having anything to eat the next day. I felt like a walking stick I was so weak. Anytime i remember i just laugh.

The reason why the option of a virtual test came out was because the application period fell when there was COVID lockdown and the rest. The virtual test taking option was just a measure put in place as per cos of corona and ensuring that they strictly adhere to social distancing and the likes

yeah I understand your point perfectly, but day to day activities have resumed since then and the virtual test can be reversed. All I know is there is a big room for cheating and a whole lot of innocent people will miss out.

The invites came last week they could have delayed it, make new arrangements for where the exam will be held and cancel out the virtual test. Dont be surprised if the cut off mark is placed at 95% because a lot of people passed too much. All the best to us all.

lol people who go for mercenry wont go for block heads, that's why they are called mercenary. That's what some of them do for a living and since the questions are likely to come out from your area of concentration you know what to expect.

Seriously speaking it wont be fair

In my own opinion I don't think this virtual test is the best way to conduct this exam. There are a lot of what ifs?, what if a machinery is hired to do the test. Since it is at the comfort of our homes no one will get to know.

All this should have been put into consideration before opting for virtual exams seriously. Who else is on the same page with me? Or am I just thinking way too much outside the box.

Even if the person scale through, we all know he/she might not be lucky to go pass the interview stage, but what if he/she goes through and Moreover he/she will be jeopardizing the chances of people who really deserve to be in the next stage of the recruitment.

Just my humble opinion.......
