Farrah Fawcett was an American actress with multiple Golden Globe and Emmy nominations to her name. She rose to fame as private investigator Jill Munroe in the TV series Charlie's Angels in 1976 and till date has the best selling pin up poster of all time (selling 12 million copies). She was diagnosed of anal cancer in 2006 and died in Intensive care with long term partner Ryan O'neal by her side.   |

Fawcett's first TV appearance was on I Dream of Jeannie in the 1968–1969 season as a guest star:   Then another appearance on Owen Marshall: Counselor at Law. . . :  Then on to The Six Million Dollar Man with Lee Majors:  And also guest episodes of The Dating Game and several episodes of Harry O alongside David Janssen |

In 1976, Pro Arts Inc., pitched the idea of a poster of Fawcett to her agent, and a photo shoot was arranged. The company hired photographer Bruce McBroom. From 40 rolls of film, Farrah selected 6 pictures, marking as favourite the one that made her famous. The resulting poster, of Farrah in a one-piece red bathing suit, was a best-seller with sales estimates as high as 12 million copies.  |

Good morning, Charlie Starring alongside Kate Jackson (center) and Jaclyn Smith (right), Fawcett rose to fame in 1976 on the crime-fighting ABC series "Charlie's Angels." After the end of her marriage to Lee Majors, Fawcett began dating actor Ryan O'Neal, best known for the film "Love Story." The two became life partners and also have a son together, Redmond O'Neal.   |

Aside from her appearances on TV and on the cover of countless magazines, Fawcett explored theater in the 1983 off-Broadway play, "Extremities." Fawcett was the target of much public criticism and drug use rumors after she appeared out of sorts on "The Late Show with David Letterman" in June 1997. Letterman referred to the comment in early 2009 when a similarly frazzled Joaquin Phoenix appeared as a guest, saying "Joaquin, I'm sorry you couldn't be here tonight. We owe an apology to Farrah Fawcett."  |

Arh this was good,the woman was so beautiful,so strong and the way she kept herself dignified even in sickness and eventual death. I have nothing but respect and admiration for her. |

Fawcett returned to television in the new millennium, appearing on four episodes of the now-defunct drama "The Guardian" from 2002 to 2003, for which she earned her third Emmy nod. Fawcett most recently starred in her own reality show on TVLand in 2005, titled "Chasing Farrah."  |

The pic of her in the red bathing suit was so famous when I was little,and still sells till today. And the woman's hair, Farrah rocked mad hair. Reuniting for Aaron In 2006, Fawcett reunited with former "Charlie's Angels" costars Kate Jackson (left) and Jaclyn Smith to pay homage to the show's creator, Aaron Spelling. The tribute to Spelling, at the 58th annual Emmy Awards, was the first time the trio had been together since 1977.  |
