Try remove your battery and replace it.

i am browsing with my phone motorola l7 with mtn and zain. the zain is faster than the mtn on phone. so i activated mtn 3G nite plan and zain lite plan. i configured both to my laptop the mtn and zain. the mtn is connecting and working fine both phone and laptop but the zain is not connecting to laptop error the ppp control protocol was terminated but only browsing on phone. help please

remove your battery and all peripherals and everything attached to the laptop, press down and hold the power button for like a minute, then chill like 5 mins then replace the battery and put it on. its just static

u need to have the pc suite for the phone, and u need to check the settings for dial up, particularly the settngs for APN, user name and password and dial up no. u have to input them on the computer especially with zain!!!!

thanks i already ve done it, what u just said matches with the problem. i was  using wap.ng.zain.com for deal-up instead of internet.ng.zain.com  as they change it newly but mtn dont need anp on system settings

they have plugged the ssl loophole, almost sha but really be not deceived, as long as u connecting thru their gateway, you are blockable AND ur traffic is visible!!! but mtn gats sell modems and get u pple hooked on the net, besides what better way to test a network upgrade than to load it?

mtn never needed apn, from the onset, except the time they had firewall compromises last year!! mumus were using ms enteprise on some gateways. no apn does not mean they not secure, besides its good for a user cos ur behind a web proxy not wap! thats the issue with zain and the foolish wap gateway and internet gateway! if ur using vista, and u connect wap gateway the mumu pc will even be showing local connectivity only. ur system services wont get online and u have to set proxy in ur browser.


not that we really care though as long as we sha get online!!!!

i recently formatted my acer aspire 2920 notebook cos of network issue i wasnt able to surf the net either wirelessly or using the rj 45 port when i checked my device manager i found microsoft ISATAP device driver not ok, i don know how this microsoft ISATAP  got to ma system, so the best option for me then is to format the systes which i've done. i am able to get some of the drivers such as: vga, lan, and the rest what remains neo is the network controller driver for wireless[i][/i][color=#990000][/color]. any help 4 me.

proffer some diagnostics, could you please mention if XP or Vista.
What's the make and model of machine in question, laptop or PC ?

In addition, computers are design to report errors in such a way
that reflect the actual problem and what can be done about it
where necessary.  PCI corrupt isn't telling us anything.

The RF receiver that came with my wireless mouse is broken and I couldn't get the same model in the market. I have a receiver (from a former wireless mouse) and it seems not to be connecting with the mouse.

has to be use in other for your mouse to function. it is not possible to use another

Thanks for the above enquiry, For norton to be completely remove
use the following utiliy and follow on screen instructions. I wont
advice having norton on a machine because of known issues.

After finish removing try installing security software such as AVG, AVAST or Macafee.

yep ur machine is definitely infected; get one of the antiviruses recommended by deji_2009 in his last post snd update and scan ur machine
