I'm really happy to see Nigerians for the first time in many years taking the Federal government head on and with zeal and passion. This is good news for a growing nation. I hope you guys keep this up till after 2011. enough of this nonsense.

In a nation of 150 millions. About 10k took part in a protest and you think we are waking up? shocked Erm Okay, I guess we are. I think you should watch the video of America's milion man march to illustrate how people "wake up". Or watch the video of various countries where protest are held non-stop over days until the government is forced to quit.

To you may be we are. But from where I stand Nigerians are still nicely tucked in bed waiting for a Prince named Obama to come and deliver them from the pits of the dragons of oppression, poverty and bad governance. smiley

Do you no what ended segregation in the US? The Negros were pushed to the wall and the organised a 6months bus boycott sparked off by Rosa Parks and led by Luther and Nixon. We have heard of orange and velvet revolutions where people took to the streets and demanded change. In Iran today, people take to the streets to protest in hundreds of thousands despite the beheading that ensues as a punishment to be a dissident.Just look at the enough is enough protest, how many of those 150 million Nigerians who claim to be suffering participated. Why can't 10 million Nigerians storm the streets for days until a reasonable compromise is reached with our leaders. How many times and days were those demonstrations repeated.

We are not suffering yet, when we are pushed to the wall,we will demand change by force.

Hey Jimmysho,I don't get on here for recognition.I come here to bear my mind on my beloved country.

Why is it that most times we have Nigerians living outside Nigeria telling us that we are not doing enough?

The akara seller, bus driver or okada rider is contributing more than Nigerians outside as regards moving this nation forward.

You don't sit in the comfort of your home or office in a foreign land and tell us that we are not doing enough or lecture us about protests and revolutions.

Get into the kitchen and involve yourselves. Nigerians who are living in Nigeria going through the difficult times should and must be acknowledged. After all the organised way of life some of you enjoy outside Nigeria didn't come to be because the citizens of the respective countries left the country to foreign lands.
