This is a forum governed by rules, if you were warned to report rather than insult back, and the offending party got banned.

point of correction, every thread/link you have reported i see and the mods see. and action was taken on all. which is why i  knew you were a first time offender.

That you would, out of the blues, PICK on where I decide I ain't taking the particular insult, to come back at me, then I say again DON'T DO THAT.

I rarely ever report those because I know even newbies on here see those threads so I wonder why I would have to run to the @moderator, who is supposed to be in charge of the board, each time someone calls me one name or another.

If you want to ENFORCE the rules, start by DELETING all the MANY THOUSANDS of posts INSULTING, not my views, but my person on here, and many others. And I can tell you they are not hard to find. Warning me when you have been privy to the fact that the insults have been coming for a long time, is just you trying to insult me further.

If you want to clean the dirty room, clean the dirty room. Not come to where I am sitting over in the corner to tell me my foot on the floor is the problem when it is clear to even the blind that there is trash all over the floor that needs to be dealt with first and foremost.

We check reports daily , mods cannot be everywhere at the same time, which is why the forum has a report to mod link, use it.

The forum rules are for everyone to obey , as long as you ticked on the little box before signing up, you  should obey those rules. No one is above them.
Replying anyone's insult without reporting makes you culpable which is why you were warned.

You have been reporting insults/thread derailment before so why decide to reply in kind this time, and when you get warned you tell me i should not warn you? are you above Nairaland forum rules?

To Add, I signed up to use the forum, not do your job for you @Mukina2. It is not my job to report the unruly behavior of others. I would think it is part of your duty there as @Moderator. That you get occasional help from me does not mean I am suddenly your assistant in that. I signed up about 3 years ago, and even though the claimed rules you are trying to push now existed even then, it had not stopped things from deteriorating over all that time.

I appreciate that you have maybe woken up to the fact that you need to be stricter on enforcing these rules, but I would appreciate it even more if you would go after the real problems and not, again, try to tell me I have no right to [b]defend [/b]myself when you IGNORE YOUR OWN DUTIES.
