Gov’s wives fight over First Lady office

Wives of the Bauchi State governor, Mallam Isa Yuguda, are now at one another’s throat over who becomes the official First Lady of the state just as the first of the three wives, Aisha, has already claimed the office.

Nigerian Tribune gathered that Aisha’s co-wives, Hauwa Abiodun and Mariya, were engaged in a silent plot of how to outsmart one another to gain recognition and get their husband’s nod to be the first lady.

Sources also revealed that each of the wives had now set up a non-governmental organisation (NGO) with which to gain popularity among the people of the state.

They were also said to have started going round the state with the aim of carrying out development projects to further entrench their NGOs in the state, a development said to be smearing the person of Yuguda, regarded as “a gentleman.”

The first wife’s project is known as ‘Women and Children Initiative Scheme,’ aimed at bettering the lives of women and children in the state, while the second wife, Hauwa, has ‘Challenge Your Disability Initiative’ (CYDI) as her own pet project, which is aimed at restoring hope to the physically challenged.

The NGO of the third wife, Mariya, is concerned with the prevalence of HIV\AIDS and malaria among the people of the state.

However, unofficial information at the Government House, Bauchi, indicated that Aisha had been designated the first lady.

This is ridiculous, despicable and unacceptable.

What makes you feel that a leader who has problem managing his multiple wives will be an effective governor?
This man is a distracted man and situation like this doesn't get better. This is a wrong sign, wrong message and a wrong man for this position.

His attention as a governor is diverted and will forever be so; hence don't waste our money and time, this governor should be impeached immediately.

We do not need this type of leader in the office. This man and his wives should be chased out of the state house.

Those women should divert their energy to taking care of their large families; what is all this nonsense of first gini? Isa Yuguda should prevent his wife from doing any NGO as its another way of stealing money.
