X-factoria:

Many of you guys just don't get it.

THIS GUY IS BECOMING ANNOYINGLY ARROGANT. He said this "Preferred not to play" which means he knew he could play but chose not to. Which means he knows the Coach and the medical team will pass him fit to play but he just doesn't want to play (chosing which match to play) because he envisaged "an empty stadium". And that also means he felt the match is not the type "Senior boys in the team" should play.

He has started seeing himself as one "senior boy" that should be given preferrential treatment. WTF! I'm sure Sia1 being a former player understands better the nature of injury that a player should not be allowed to play with. I trust his judgement that much. Besides, Osaze must have left without his permission to do so. Thats sheer disrespect!

Honestly, the guy needs to be taught some lessons.
Osaze is one of my favourite players in the team. His zeal and passion for the national team is palpable but sadly this may be the case.

Nigerians are biased when it comes to Siasia. Just look at the the team list for the games against Ethiopia and Kenya. If it were another coach, say Amodu or Eguavoen that called up the likes of Fengor Ogude, Solomon Okoronkwo, Victor Anichebe, Nnamdi Oduamadi and even Ikechukwu Uche, who had just recovered from a very long injury lay off, hell would have been unleashed upon the coach, all manner of vitriolic attacks coming from all corners but it's Siasia, everyone thinks it's alright.
I demand that every of Siasia's action be thoroughly scrutinised and placed under the microscope like we did with all our other coaches.

Let me take some of you down memory lane,
1. Belging 2008 Sia called out to Shittu, mikel, Ike uche ,Taiye Taiwo and Osaze for d three  u-23 overaged spots
Only Osaze showed up. you can argue about russian league being on break but if messi, ronaldinho made the olympics, is your Tai.T, Mikel, ike uche more important to their clubsides than messi is to barca.

Osaze may be 30 but he covers twice asmuch on the field than a supposedly 23 years old mikel when playing for this country

2. October 10, 2010, Nigeria -Guinea nations cup qualifier in conakry, Etuhu, Mikel and osaze all reported injured and opted out of the game (http://www.naijafootball247.com/2010/10/mikel-osaze-etuhu-out-of-guinea-clash.html)
we duly lost, and now we trail Guinea in the group.
but  next weekend oct 17th and
Mikel plays a full 90 mins for chelsea against astonvilla (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/eng_prem/9085477.stm)
while Osaze missed 4 premier league games due to his injury  and only returned 1 month later on Nov 17th

@ 30 years old, Osaze deserves rest when he can as he has become more injury prone these days due to the nature of EPL
Nevertheless he's the first african to become the EPL player of the month in only their first month of action
and currently has scored more EPL goals than the Drogbas, kalous, Gyans despite playing for lowly West Brom in only his first season.

So anybody running their mouth now about him not being patriotic should rethink
and those saying He's overhyped should name a better consistent performer in the SE set up.
And I think He will duly apologize for his latest rants.

But If Siasia needs to up his Personnel management skills, he should as well

Everything you said is very true. But we can't continue this destructive cycle of destroying local coaches. If Siaone is subjected to d same nonsense Amodu & co suffered, he will quit and we will end up spending another 30 mil on some white man who will swindle us again. Let us remove that microscope we used on d others so that Siasia can't at least give d job his best.

siasia had it coming. in the past few weeks, he had been quoted making uncomplimentary remarks about players. he should learn to manage his staff with decorum.
if he does not change his style, he will get more blowback.
osaze venting on him will be the tip of the iceberg.
Re: Osaze Odemwingie Lashes Out At Siasia On Twitter by Kgdavid(m): 11:18am On Apr 02, 2011
odemwingie's professional displays on the pitch should not be mixed with his unprofessional utterances off the pitch. the guy has no right whatsoever to criticize his national team coach on twitter! if he has a problem let him go through the appropriate channels. for as much as he has done for nigeria does that mean he will play forever? he will someday retire and become irrelevat to nigeria so no one should behave as if odemwingie is the only hope for nigeria. let evrything be done in orderliness.

Enough Please!

Osaze is a good lad, committed and well-behaved.
We know this from "yaaro".

Lets situate the current issue and tell him the "home truth".

If he was a Man-U player, and he says "that" about Sir Alex Ferguson on Twitter, WHAT DO YOU THINK WOULD HAPPEN TO HIM?

Remember Ronaldo? Remember Wayne Rooney? These are stars way-ahead of Osazz!

Respect begets respect and in the current order and heirachy of things, The Coach is "superior" to the Player

A good and disciplined player MUST NEVER OPENLY criticize his coach, no matter what!

Siasia is a lovable coach and is very approachable, even if he asked you to play, despite your injuries, it is because he has "fate in your abilities"!

Sir Alex was asking Rooney to play so many matches, despite his injury!
Same for that "Arse Whinghy", all coaches do it.

SO my advice yo Osazz is that: Make a private call to your Boss and apologize unreservedly to him! Who knows, you too may become a National Coach one day and you will not take that 'shaete' from any player.

LESSON 101: Beware of what you say on these "Social Websites", they are not as private as you think,,,,,and may come back to hunt you for long.

Easy, Osazee, take it easy.

please allow the man to free himself. He dose not think like you all who will just open your mouth wide while another man stick his dick inside of it. The man has freedom of speech and you must allow him to be. I love someone who is an independent person like Osaze. I love you man

Osaze might have gone overboard with his twit but let no one compare him to the current coach, Because by footballing standard he was a failure as a striker! The records are there to see! He might make a good coach eventually but then lets not lose it because we are ;lost in the euphoria of his winning streak with the U-20's , Siasia was always screaing about respect as a player, i believe he should show some to his senior players, because he has senior players, Kanu and Osaze no be mate and Osaze and Ekigo Ehiosu no be mate as well.

I watched WestBrom yesterday and l paid attention to Osazee!
He was magnificent, blistering and the commentator commended his athletism!

Then it suddenly struck me that Osazee cant be so much injured as not to be able to play on Tuesday (for Siasia), and to perform th eway he did on Saturday! If he was that much injured then he could not have "miraculously recovered" 150%, to play he way he did on Saturday.

Bottom-line: He was feigning injury (maybe to avoid one and be able to perform as he did on Saturday!).
.I guess Siasia knew the was pretending to be injured and laid it out to him.

I hope other players learn from this: you can easily go from glory to ignominy, if you start "acting-out"!
A word is enough, buckle up Osazee and keep your mouth in control.

Whatv are you talking about? Siasia a failure as a striker? Do you know his performance for both club a nd country? Have you watched any of his games? The guy was a world class player in his hey day so just don't go there.

Secondly, i'm disappointed with Osaze. He's been magnificent for the eagles. He shouldn't have said what he did. I dont know what his problem is of late. He criticized Shuaibu; he also spoke against Lagerback and now Siasia. He just should be careful because there are other players,
