The 7th of April 2011 was a fantastic and an interesting day for one of the very best comedians of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Julius Agwu.


It was his birthday and he spent quality time at the Heart of Gold Hospice in Surulere, Lagos.
As one of the very important things to him, Julius said he derives joy in taking care of abandoned children. He also said that these orphans appreciate him more whenever he visits them because his visit makes them very happy and lively.

Julius has been one of the consistent patrons of hearts of gold hospice.He,aside celebrating his birthdays over the years there has also been a sort of ambassador for the home.

Nice move *though there's only one cake and the table is sooo scanty** Lol anyway many celebs are starting to celebrate their birthdays at unusual locations. I heard Yawu the comedian and ace radio presenter on Wazobia FM had his at Kirikiri prison where he also donated foodstuffs.

I think it is nice on a sentimental note, but what would have really taken the cake is if he organized a show and donated all the proceeds (Exclusive of PAT and Operational costs) to the Orphanage. If he did that, then I would vote him for Commissioner

Well it is a move in the right direction.It awakens our humanitarian minds when ever we see him do this but can't he get creative about how he does this,like the show someone talked about.This will create awareness about the needs of such homes and encourage those opportuned to contribute their own widow's myth
