I still think the deadline should be moved. Many people are still not aware of this thread. Imagine that despite the thousands of Igbos on Nairaland, only about 50 have voted.

@ PointB How many of those qualities that you listed does okija_juju posses? A FAT ZERO. I don't care how many romance section people he recruits, it is your duty to Ndigbo to make sure this traitor does not make it to the polls. I don't know how u would do it, but sometimes the end justifies the means. You already disqualified him before, but being the snake he is, he slithered his way back in. Can I vote against(reject) someone, to reduce the amount of nominations they have?

ALLOWING OTHER TRIBES TO VOTE IS NOT BAD BUT WHAT YOU HAVE TO KNOW FOR SURE IS THAT IF OTHER TRIBES ARE ALLOWED TO VOTE BET ME FOR SURE OKIJA JUJU WILL CARRY THE DAY WHY BECAUSE OTHER TRIBES BELIEVES HE IS NOT READY TO DEFEND THE IGBOS RATHER HE IS LIKE OPPOSITION TO IGBO PEOPLE. MIND YOU THIS ELECTION SHOULD NOT BE SEE AS CHILD PLAY STUFF WE AS IGBO PEOPLE WE NEED A STRONG MIND PERSON THAT POSSESS QUALITIES AND ABILITIES TO BE OUR NEXT IKEMBA. THOUGH SO FAR OKIJA JUJ HAS CHANGED MY THOUGHT TOWARDS HIM THROUGH HIS CAMPAIGN ABILITY AND STRATEGIES BUT HIS PREVIOUS STANCE OVER THE IGBO'S HAS RUIN HIS CHANCE , AS LONG AS I AM CONFIRMED NWAFOR IGBO NO TRUE IGBO SON OR DAUGHTER THAT WILL VOTE FOR ANY CANDIDATE WHO PREVIOUSLY MOCK THEM OR MAKE THEM A LAUGHING STUFF.I ALSO WANT TO SAY THAT IF WE REALLY WANT PEOPLE TO TAKE IGBO'S SERIOUS IN THIS FORUM I WILL SUGGEST US TO BE SERIOUS AND VOTE TO SOMEONE WHO HAS IGBO'S AT HEART NOT SOMEONE WHO LOVE US JUST TO GIVE OTHER TRIBES AVENUE TO BASH US.AND OKIJA JUJU WINNING THE ELECTION MAY BRING SO MUCH NEGLECTING TO THE EZE NDIGBO IN THIS FORUM.

I AM NOT AGAINST OKIJA JUJU,THOUGH I HATE ANYBODY WHO HATE MY PEOPLE BUT HIS CAMPAIGN HAS MADE ME TO LOVE HIM AGAIN THANKS MR OLUSI OKIJA.I PERSONALLY CAN VOTE FOR YOU FOR ANY OTHER POSITION BUT NOT EZE NDIGBO NOOOOO EZE NDIGBO GOES BY MERIT

THANKS

I think it is important to clear the air on some of your misconceptions about me.

I am an Igbo man true and true.

I do not mock my people, but you do not expect me to compromise my stand and jump and dance about issues that  i feel strongly about. Go and look through the history of my posts here on Nairaland and you will see instances where I have come to the defence of the Igbo Nation. The truth is that most of the bad press I have been getting is based on my stance regarding the "Ikemba Nnewi and the civil war". I am not a fan of Col. Ojukwu (R.I.P) and I am not afraid to say it. We both could have been in that conflict, fightig on the same side, for a cause that we both believe in, but when our general abandons us on the battlefield and runs away to a foriegn country by night, leaving us to our fate, then you will understand why I am not a fan of his. I still do not support the war because I honestly feel that all diplomatic channels were not fully exploited before instigating a war. I do not stand for bloodshed especially those of my kinsmen. My grandmother lost four boys in one day, I can never forget the one and only day she spoke about that ill thought out war. I can never forget the tears streaming down her eyes. If I could go back in time and stop that conflict, I would. Now think about the pain my grandmother and many like her felt when they heard they had been desserted by their leader!! Now think about the betrayal they felt when he came back home after the pardon and saw him wining and dining with the enemies he led their sons and daughters to fight against! Now think about the spite they felt when he was crowned a hero that he didnt deserve (in me and many other peoples opinions atleast), now does this fact make me any less Igbo than you are?! Does my difference of opinion make me an anathema?! Does the fact that we disagree and have divering opinions on issues affecting our people make me an Osu?! If you think so then please do not vote for me sir, as I will never compromise my stand until I get overwhelmingly convincing evidence to the contrary.

Now other than the war, I have also been castigated for my opposition towards Gov. Rochas Okorocha and his policies in Imo state which I honestly feel are detrimental to the state.

Other than these issues I have pointed out sir, I dare you to go through my posts and find evidence that points towards my abject hatred for the Igbo race.

I hope I can make you into a believer. I will never celebrate mediocrity especially when it is being perpertuated by my kinsmen. Lets use our diverging opinions to critically analyse and find a solution the issues facing our people.

If you want a YES MAN, vote any of the other nominees, If you want an objective and logical leader, Vote Progress 2012, Vote Okija JujuTM for Eze Ndi Igbo 2012.

I am open to entertain any questions that you may have. . . . . . . .

No way kind sir.

They need not be Igbo (they can be friends of Igbo), and they must pass the three rules:

1. Nominations by well known ethnic champions of rival ethnic groups will be discounted.
2. Nomination by and of freshly registered posters will have to be seconded by a older poster without bias to rule 1 above.
3. Posters whose ethnicity/loyalty have been challenged  severally by well known Igbo posters will have their nomination/seconding seconded or discounted.

To be brief and sweet, I'd like to formally present myself as a candidate for the position of "Eze Ndi Igbo Nairaland". I've been observing this thread and have noticed that things may not be headed the direction in which we all want them to. I believe that the winner of this race should be the best and most sensible representative of the Igbo people worldwide. I would like to run for the title of "Eze Ndi Igbo Nairaland" for many reasons.

I am running because I take pride in my culture and would like to represent the Igbo people here on Niaraland. I ask nothing more than your nominations votes and your support and I in turn present myself as a humble ambassador for the Igbo people.
