2. If I understand this question correctly, you're asking if it makes sense to buy a property in your wife's name as you're not eligible for a joint mortgage. If I surmised that correctly, then I'm not in position to answer this question as the pros and cons both depend on the strength of your relationship.

3. I'm not sure what this means, but I'll hazard a guess that you're talking about one of those part ownership house schemes, where you only have partial equity in the property.
Personally that's a house ownership configuration that I can't get jiggy with. You don't own the property outright. You can't even sell the house to get your own share of a potential rise in property price because you need to ask your co-owner(s)

4. We don't really have 'duplexes' here. However the difference between buying a flat and a house depends on a few factors. The location is obviously the key consideration.

be aware that even when you buy a flat, you still have to pay annual ground rent, as the ground the flat is erected on does not belong to you.

5. if you want to buy, wait till after brexit. Property prices are already on a downward trend and expected to drop further after brexit next year

Mourinho is nothing but a bully at this point and it is shameful to watch the degree he is willing to reel Luke Shaw in the gutters of muddy waters. Mou has been on Shaw's case since Mou joined United. He resists the temptation of calling out other players who have had despicable performances but does not fail to not only embarrass Shaw by subbing him during halftime but single his name out during press conferences.

This is not coaching, neither would this egregious philosophy motivate anyone to play better. It is even sad that after almost three pages, no one on this thread has called Mou out on this nonsense. For the records, Shaw is just 22 and I can not imagine the level of damage that has been done to his confidence and psyche by the constant bullying he is receiving from his manager. I can understand benching a player but singling out a particular player in the most disrespectful manner is not coaching.
