Thanks but you dont need a passport to travel - that what an ETC is for. Once again, thanks.
You don’t need a passport to travel internationally by Airhuh
Reallyhuh?
I don’t believe this o… and wont advised anyone to try it, only because I don’t have strength for wahala

And is ETC not for the destination country because the child/person doesn’t have the passport of the country of destinationhuh Also in the transit country, passport was requested.

Well I know and only speaking of what I did and what worked for me.

If you traveled back with your baby and didn’t use passport, kindly enlighten us on the process, cos applying and waiting for passport can add up to 3weeks extra to one’s stay.

An easier option will be nice… Thank you

I mean Canadian passport
You need the child’s Canadian passport to travel with the child.
And ETC to enter Nigeria with the child since he/she doesn’t have Nigeria passport.

You can expedite passport processing, I think there is different options including same day. But this will only work if both parents are present in Canada, if the father is not in Canada, he will be required to visit the Canada high commission located in the country he is in to sign the application and this is based on appointment.

Has anyone come back to Nigeria to get the Canadian Passport after getting the birth certificate?

Considering this option because of time.

Thanks
I don’t think you can travel out of Canada with the child without a passport, be it naija or CA passport, the child needs a valid travel document.

Hello NLanders,

Got in last saturday at 34 weeks.

Immigration officer asked why I was here, I said vacation and to have my baby.

I was asked to go to secondary inspection. It's my first time in Canada, and I indicated vacation on the application.

The officer asked why I didnt inform them that my intent has changed, I mentioned that I was not sure I should. He went to check the date of my application, and he calculated backwards and said I knew I was pregnant when I applied.

Then he asked why I decided to give birth in Canada, I said better healthcare. he said its a lie and I came for citizenship. That there are only 2 countries in the world where you pay for citizenship and Canada is one of them.

He said my whole application is fraudulent and I have not been honest with him. He said he is a federal officer and he could send me back for lying on my application. He was very rude and dismissive.

He asked if I had a doctors appt and thankfully I did, he asked if I had enough money, I said yes, and I showed him the cash. He asked for my return ticket and I showed him.

He then gave me a letter indicating that I must leave Canada as at the date stated on my return ticket.

It was a very traumatic experience for me, but thank God I wasn't sent back.

I honestly think he did not have any solid reason to send me back. he was just angry that people like us can benefit from birth tourism, and have our children become citizens, and there's nothing he can do about it.

So if you're coming in, please ensure you have your return ticket, enough money and a doctors appointment. They may harass you at the POE, but I think you should be good.
Oh my!!!
So sorry you went through this.
Thank God you got in.
Which POE was it?

I'm just wondering if it's possible to book the appointment for husband not in Canada before baby arrives.
You can if you have your dates pegged.
If you can say for sure when you will deliver and apply for birth certificate, get it and apply for passport (it’s after you submit that your hubby’s signature is needed)
You can probably just book a day every week from when you think your application will be in progress.

My Birth Gist

I will like to contribute to this movement by dropping my own experience

I landed Canada 7th Nov 2024
POE was smooth, no questions about my pregnancy whatsoever.
I traveled at 31weeks 6days but my belly was like I was 40weeks gone cos I was having twins. So I guess they just didn’t care about it or my God was not sleeping 😁
I came in with my mom and they just wanted to know who we would be staying with and if we have visited before.

I stayed at Milton with relative so no no accommodation expenses
As for getting a doctor, we just walked into one of the doctors office close by, she was even Nigerian, sent me for tests and scan. She referred me to the hospital where I gave birth (credit Valley)

Breakdown
I can’t remember the exact figures of all amount paid.
Family doctor fee- 60 (every visit)
Test- 320-400
1st scan at 33wks- 450

So twins pregnancy is considered high risk, so I have to do scan every 2 weeks and I was referred to MFM (maternal fetal medicine) they handle high risk pregnancy

2nd scan at 35wks- $370 (this was done in the hospital I gave birth credit valley mississauga)
Hospital visit- $350
MFM visit- $720
Additional test- $120

Because I was already 35wks the doctor said I didn’t need another visit and would schedule me for delivery at 36wks but I asked her to schedule me for 37wks cos I wanted babies to bake well. For Mono-di Twins, they’re not allowed to go pass 37wks because they share a placenta.

Obgyn- $3000
Hospital fee- $5300

Once the babies were born, OHIP kicked in, so I didn’t have to pay anything for them.

After I got back home this pple still sent me additional bill of $750 for pathology 🤧🥴😩 I paid with tears

I applied for birth certificate and one was processed and the second twins own wasn’t processed, had to raise a request for it to be treated immediately as we are traveling back soon. Birth certificate came, passport now decided to be unfortunate. Made the mistake of going to mississauga passport office, the crowd and queue was something else. The office is in a mall, but the queue started from outside the mall and it was during winter 🥶

I submitted the request but because my hubby was in naija he had to go to Canada high commission to sign.
PS- if your husband is not with you, the moment you put to birth or even earlier try and book the appointment for him to sign.
I was supposed to travel back Feb 3rd, the only available appointment date was in March. We had to send them email appealing for a closer date with travel documents and still the date they gave us was Feb 6th, so I had to move my travel date.

The journey wasn’t easy but I met an awesome mom @aprilborn here and we literally went through the whole process together sharing ideas and information, having her made the whole journey easier.

Hope this helps

Please can you confirm if they came through for you... i am thinking of using them also and dont want stories that touch. I wont mind recommendation for credible agency in Nigeria

Choiceart0710:
Now I'm really having doubts about using them, you're like the second person that would mention how poor their customer service is.

I don't trust Cradlehavven.
I sent them some documents to support my application and few weeks later I saw 1 of my children's birth certificate (i had him abroad) on their Instagram page like it was 1 of their successful client's child's birth certificate.
Also poor customer service.

Basically it involves using your Bsc to apply for a similar HND course at a polytechnic, you are automatically drafted into Pre-HND. Your Bsc transcript is requested and exemptions are given on similar courses already undertaken at Bsc level. In my case, I was only told to write an exam on two courses which were not taken and didn't reflect in my Bsc transcript after which i was issued a National diploma to proceed for my HND. Sent my Bsc and ND to WES and was evaluated for two degrees.

Fees I paid were
ND1 fees 102k
ND2 fees 80k
Transcript 15k

I hope this conforms to the free information policy of this platform and is also useful to others. Thanks.

N.B I am post AOR.
Kindly respond to your PM... it’s urgent

The thread reads question/enquiry/complaint/review and suggestions but over 3weeks I made a suggestion, no response from you... This is not a good one. I would have to ask fellow investors on the agritech page about the silence from you.

Hello Click farm,

You have been somewhat mute for the pass couple of weeks.

Hope our investment is going fine and safe. In the wake of serial defaulting by some agrictech companies.

Assurance and communication will go a long way
