Career / Making Use Of Your Brain To Get You A First Class Result by Nikkyella5: 8:12pm On Nov 04, 2020
The principal use of the body is to carry the brain around: and the brain is what you are.

So true, for in our brain, we think, consider, evaluate.

In our brain, we remember, dream, pray and have contact with God.

Many times we relate these functions to the heart, which is actually only a muscle pumping life-giving blood.

But the brain is the seat of our mind, and it is our mind that distinguishes us.

We hold the mental picture of what we want to achieve in our brain.

Why do you easily believe junks?

Why do you have a poor self-image?

Why do you distrust in your abilities to extraordinary things?

Why aren’t you making meaningful progress in your career?

Because you’ve been lying to yourself all these while saying “It is impossible,” “It is difficult,” “It’s a big risk that would likely fail.” Get on top of your fears

God made you topnotch. What did you do with it? You sit all day believing the lies of your circumstances and experiences.

Once I read the story of the founder of Federal Express in one of Norman’s book.

You’ve probably seen the company’s familiar red, white, and purple trucks.

Here is the story behind FEDEX

The idea first started with Frederick Smith, who was born in Mississipi in 1944.

Despite having a wealthy father, Fred Smith, had a rough childhood.

His father died when he was four, and little Fred suffered from a bone disease that kept him from running and playing.

But he loved airplanes, and later when he went to Yale University,

he researched a paper for an economics course in which he proposed overnight air delivery of packages to almost every town in America.

His Professor looked at the paper, shook his head and gave Fred a low grade on it.

After graduating from Yale, Fred flew over two hundred combat missions in Vietnam before returning to the business world in 1970.

He asked experts to study the idea he proposed at Yale.

Their advice was “Go.”

In 1972, Fred Smith, at the age of twenty-eight, launched his business.

He chose Memphis, Tenessee, as a hub of his operations since it is located near the center of the United States.

His plan called for his Federal Express planes to fly into Memphis every night with the packages picked up in one hundred cities.

His Memphis center would then sort the packages to be flown the same night to their destinations, where the truck would rush them to the recipients.

It took a lot of money to buy the planes and trucks, and hire all the people to do this.

But Fred believed so much in his dream,

he lined up investors in what one financial expert called “The greatest sales feat of all time.”

But the first day Fred put his plan into action, April 17, 1972,

It looked like his old Yale Professor was dead right about his idea.

His fleet of twenty-five converted passengers jects handled only eighteen packages.

To worsen the situation, the oil crisis made fuel prices soar.

Things got so rough for the fledging company that its pilots sometimes

had to buy aircraft fuel with their personal gasoline credit card, as recorded in history.

In two years Federal Express lost $24 million. Many business experts predicted failure.

“It can’t work,” they insisted, pointing out what they called the impracticality of the system, primarily because of climbing fuel prices. How to get back on your feet after experiencing significant losses

A package sent from Los Angeles to Seattle had to be flown way out of its way to Memphis distributing hub before it went back to Seattle.

This apparently looks like a failed dream,

but Fred’s strong believe kept him going.

He took a bold step by turning to wary investors for more money.

He finally got it by agreeing to very high interest.

He stuck to his guarantee of next-day delivery, and when companies saw the value of his service, he started making a profit.

Currently, FedEx is more than $8 billion corporation company with over 85% thousand employees delivering items around the world every day.

All because he believes and he frequently took meaningful steps.

Do you want to know who you are? Don’t ask. Act!

Action will delineate and define you.” —Thomas Jefferson

To be an achiever, you will probably have more successes than failure like everyone else. Mental Readiness

What would distinguish you from everyone else is that you must rise each time you fall.

Failure and fall are inevitable in our walk-in life.

You won’t become an achiever overnight, it is a process.

You will fail many times.

Being black isn’t what distinguishes you.

The presence or absence of melanin in your body isn’t what determines how far you can go; it’s the stuff you have in the inside that will make you successful.
