This is a qusetion for the women out there? How Do you deal with the fact that you caught your man red hand and Like shaggy said he denied it was him untill you showed him proof. And the person he s seeing is his former girlfriend. Then he apologies(half heartedly).

Do you leave him?
Forgive and move on?

Travel / Re: Why Do Most Nigerians Want To Travel Out? by niks(f): 5:02pm On Mar 06, 2007
The Question? Why do Nigerians want to travel out?
Hush. I guess I should answer it as why did I and my friends travel out.
Well first of all, my whole family lives abroad so it was expected that I would travel out. Also I like the element of abroad being a leveller i.e. in England we are all almost on the same level with no one group(unless you are white) being better than the other. My friends travelled for their masters and stayed cos of constant light and convenience of life. But we all have the same dream to return triumphant back to Nigeria. Nobody wants to die in an old people’s home abroad it is not what I would wish my worst enemy.
Travel / Re: What's Up With Ghana And Nigeria? by niks(f): 4:22pm On Mar 06, 2007
Hi I am half Ghanaian and I would say that sometimes it is as if Nigerians and Ghanaian have a complex. One has superiority Complex (Niger) the other inferiority complex. ;DBut then again it is not good to generalise as all Nigerians are not alike and like someone said earlier outside Africa we are just bloody Africans cry embarassedto everybody so it would be in our best interest to try and get a long with each other. As a great man once said a house divided against itself cannot stand. smiley
Education / Re: About Your Primary Or Secondary School In Nigeria by niks(f): 5:03pm On Mar 02, 2007
y are your spoiling the image of ISL for goodness sake, all what u said are not true at all. i got sisters that went there and they were most of my friends went even ex boyfriends. that school is not bad at all, at least it's better than queen college or all of those other schools. people sha everytime they leave Nigeria they got to compare it with oversea school.

Hi Omo I was not dissing ISL it was the things that happened that made it fun cool,I don't know when your friends went to ISL but when I went things like that happened and we had Fun cos otherwise School would have been boring and you are right it is better than other schools grin
Education / Re: Uk Student Visa Refusal.how To Reapply by niks(f): 2:46pm On Mar 02, 2007
Evidence of Funds is a bank statement here or abroad that there is sufficient money to cover the course. This they usually estimate this depending on the amount of fees so if for example you are studying in London and fees are 5,000 they add cost of living etc of another £5,000 so you must an mimimual fund of £10,000 in the Bank statement or what ever you show.

Paying the complete School fees is not wise as if you change your mind about the course or school or God forbid you are not given the visa. The school don't pay you back all the money, they keep part of it for admin costs etc

To be truthfully what you produce matters but what is most important is what they don't ask you for.Let me explain Like you said every person applying is a potential immigrant but they can't refuse everybody so they do it on a balance of probabilities. It is all well and good to have document proving your course of studies , what you really need to proof is that you will come back after studying or as they say have strong ties to Nigeria, this includes and is not limited to financial(money, houses, mortgage), emotional(married with children) and any other thing which will bring you back to Nigeria.
Education / Re: Going Back To Nigeria To Look For Love by niks(f): 2:40pm On Feb 09, 2007
it all depends on what you are looking for. There are good and Bad girls and boys everywhere. But you are less likely to meet members of the opposite sex in social situations in the Diaspora unless you have affliations in the Nigerian communnity.
I would suggest that you find a group to join or find a girl in church(that is if you are a christian)

You're wasting your time. Well guys the question now is how big a margin can the eagles create.
2-0, 3-0, 4-0 maybe even more anything is possible, with the eagles current form, the weakness of the black stars e.t.c

I guess you are eating your words now, grin
the ghanaians are not as daft as before oju ti la(eye has opened)

the teachers in ISL were witches n wizards. they had their own version of dt. they will tell you to raise your textbooks, close your eyes and stand on one leg. if u dare put dt leg down, even your parents wont recognise u. but i will stil do anything 2 go bk 2 them days, even if 4 jus a day.

angry
I remember. I went to ISL and I remember when they made us cut grass and washed the toilet, honestly. Pre-1990 the only teacher I remember was the English teacher and the way she used to be wicked and cross and uncross her legs all the time. And the worst punishment for me was the kneeling on concrete shocked. Gosh know that I think of it my children are defintely going to school in Nigeria.
