As for the question, I know of only one hosting company (there might be others) and that's taprap (www.taprap.net),; currently using them but anyone that can access their cpanel can also install softaculous now (the instruction is on their site, pretty much straight forward.

PoliticsPresident Jonathan Offered Us $50,000 Bribe, But We Returned It - Pastor Tunde B by niktronics(op): 8:27pm On Nov 29, 2010
[img][/img]
Fiery Lagos-based pastor, Tunde Bakare, has confirmed to Saharareporters that President Goodluck Jonathan proivede a $50, 000 cash bribe to a delegation of the Save Nigeria Group that visisted him last Monday, but that the group sent back the money.

Pastor Bakare’s confirmation came in the midst of a tepid denial of our earlier report by Tony Uranta, one of Mr. Jonathan's political operatives. Uranta had claimed on his Facebook page yesterday that Saharareporters misrepresented the crux of the meeting between the president and the Pastor Bakare-led delegation.

Specifically, Uranta denied that Jonathan discussed his ambition to run for office with the SNG delegation. He also stated that no money was offered to the SNG team and claimed that, contrary to our earlier report, the Bakare group had not asked him to return the bribe money to Jonathan.

But in a telephone interview with Saharareporters on Sunday evening, Pastor Bakare confirmed that the details of our earlier exclusive report were factual and unimpeachable.

Bakare, who has a reputation for speaking out fearlessly on current political issues, affirmed that the Minister of the Niger Delta, Godsday Orubebe, had offered the SNG delegation the sum of $50,000 on behalf of President Jonathan. The SNG had met with Jonathan to review his performance in office.

In the phone interview, Pastor Bakare stated categorically that his team was indeed offered money after it submitted a position paper on why it was opposed to the president's ambition to be re-elected. He confirmed that the cash was immediately returned to sender through Uranta, shortly after it was presented to the SNG delegation.

The SNG convener told Saharareporters that his team felt terribly embarrassed and offended by the orchestrated attempt by Jonathan and his team to buy the SNG’s support through illicit means.

An obviously angry Bakare said, “You can quote me. I don't do deals and I don't lie. Tony [Uranta] could be saving his own face. Tony lied that he didn't collect the money from us. There are living witnesses. Orubebe has confirmed to me that the money was returned. Mr. President is aware through Oronto Douglas that we returned his money through Tony.”

Bakare said he, Yinka Odumakin and other SNG officials went to the meeting with Jonathan with a written document that explained why the SNG would not support his candidacy.

“We submitted a document regarding the culture of impunity in which he (Jonathan) continues to swim," he said.

CelebritiesOprah Gives Out 2012 Model Beetles To Audience by niktronics(op): 10:59pm On Nov 23, 2010
In case you haven’t heard by now, Oprah has done it again. On her second “Oprah's Ultimate Favorite Things” episode of this, her final season, she gave away 275 Volkswagen New Beetles. Audience members will have to wait a little while to receive their cars, since they’ll be getting the 2012 model. They haven’t even seen the car yet, since VW hasn’t revealed its new design. The car is expected to be available next fall.
In 2004, Oprah audience members were each given a Pontiac G6 in her famous and much-parodied “You get a car! You get a car!” episode. Controversy followed when some audience members, many of whom were chosen because of their financial need for a car, were surprised that they had to pay taxes on the prize. Winnings, like these, are considered income. This time, however, VW has offered to cover associated taxes and fees.

Waoh!

Nairaland GeneralLagos Doctors Suspend Strike, Give Govt 72 Hours Ultimatum by niktronics(op): 8:22pm On Nov 22, 2010
The Lagos Medical Guild has on Sunday announced the suspension of their 14 week old strike and have given the Lagos state govt 3 days to pay in full their withheld salaries.
This news is coming on the heels of the agreement of the lagos state state govt to the 100% CONMESS. According to sources, patients and visitors have resumed to public hospitals en masse.

In another incident, the Nigerian Union Journalists at the weekend said its proposed three-day warning strike with the Radio, Television and Theatre Arts Workers Union will begin today.

The National Secretary of the NUJ, Shuaibu Leman, said in a statement at the weekend in Abuja that, barring any last minute agreement or change, the strike would go on.

Mr. Leman explained that the strike was to place on the front burner, the demand for a new salary structure for media workers in the Federal Government-owned media.

"The strike is meant to bring into front burner, the enhanced and new salary structure for media workers that is stalled somewhere with the Federal Government.

"During the strike action, members should stay at home and not lurk around the premises of their offices,'' he said. In another statement signed by Seye Adekeye, the NUJ's Assistant National Secretary, the union decried the huge disparity in the salaries of workers in government-owned media and its other parastatal agencies.

Nairaland GeneralNigerian Government Website? by niktronics(op): 8:35pm On Nov 12, 2010
Lmao, I almost can't believe this, the laughable nonsense of a website our government has. According to the developers, “… the site will be fully available soon”.

Common! we surely can do better than that, why not consult sensible and obviously good-at-what-they-do web designers to cook up something visually appealing and functional e.g. the guys at Unotech media, even I can do better than this, for one, the site looks to busy, has amateur designer written all over it, dull graphics na wah.

For more details Visit www.gidinetwork..com.

btw, the website address is www.nigeria.gov.ng.
