Even a step mom can get direspected by her husband's kids and any attempt to discipline them will be termed wickedness.
One mistake and all their good deeds will be forgotten.

I feel being a step parent is most times a thankless job because those kids miss their real parent and don't appreciate what other people do for them as much as they would if their own parents did it. That's why everyone considers their mothers and fathers to be saints but don't see others that way.

I know it's the same,with step moms if not worse, but I was actually stating why I would rather not get involved with a single mom. Because after it's all said and done, some guys don't mind hooking up with them.

Maybe I should modify the single mom to single parent.

But either way, the idea of step children thinking you're the reason why their parents aren't together (and despising you for it) when you have nothing to do with it isn't appealing to me at all. It's particularly bad if the other parent still have access to the children and poison their mind with false information like if not for you, their mother/dad would still be with them

One of the reasons I don't fancy single moms.. It's either the child(ren) have no regard for you no matter the effort(s) you put into their lives or you constantly have to deal with the biological dad or his people.

After spending over 40grand (about N8m) seeing her through college, getting her a car and about to spend another $40k for her wedding, he couldn't invite 20 of his own friends. Who on this earth really have or know 250 persons there'll want to attend their wedding?

To say mother and daughter still didn't see anything wrong. SMH. Make the real papa foot the wedding bills na..

The police inspector didn't tell the court if he was caught in the act or hr was just arrested based on the complaints of the said girlfriend. Because it is also possible the girlfriend just decided to frame him up because of their misunderstanding.

Not saying he is innocent though.
