Flipmac:
Good day guys,
I work online as a freelancer on fiverr. I'm currently seeking a cheap town or place in Nigeria that I can get good supply of electricity (at least $12 hours or more). This is to enable me do online jobs and cut cost of buying petrol.
I would prefer somewhere cheap where I can get a decent self contain accommodation for around 70k. Also, I would like a place that has good security.

There's an old thread similar to this opened by a freelancer a few years ago but sadly I can't find it.

Please give me suggestions. I hear oshogbo is good choice.

Any other suggestions? Be as specific as possible. Thanks.

Just saw where stated you are from Bayelsa so you wouldn't be far from home. Omuko in Rivers State is your best bet. At least 24 hours free power supply courtesy of Agip and other oil companies exploring gas in the community. Lot's of cool spots too..

You're from the Niger-Delta so you should already be familiar with the security issues down there. Houses are dead cheap too.

My friend is from the town and is a landlord. As in the guy get plenty cribs thanks to his parents.

Family / Re: My Wife And I Are Keeping Malice! by Nitefury: 6:59am On May 30, 2019
Don't know if anyone else has noticed it, but going through the Op's post history, I found out Op is a "she" and probably the wife if this story is true that is.

While I know some men really appreciate their spouse, Op was just praising herself and trying to deflect any blame for herself for the issue at hand by saying how hard she works, how she moved him from a single room to a 3 bedroom flat etc so the main issue is lost, i.e insulting her husband's family/dad and she succeeded because all the comments are saying "Op, your wife is stressed" etc.

I think the issue goes deeper than what she put up here. Perhaps Op's husband doesn't really support her, but the fact is she insulted his family.

In het last thread which coincidentally also made front page a day or two back, Op asked for the salary scale of a non academic staff of a university. She must have done this because she obviously doesn't know her husband's actual salary, so from the responses on that thread, she was able to arrive at N60k and then proceeded to create this thread stating "he" (i.e pretending to be her husband) earns N60,000, bla bla bla.

Besides, something tells me this is her alternate account.

Dear Op, I understand your frustrations towards the lack of or inadequate contributions from your husband, but you crossed the line and hit below the belt when you insulted his family/dad. Go and apologize to him.

I'm a perfectionist when it comes to research work and writing. I always give my best shot and I'm proud to say I did my project work myself from start to finish.

I even assisted a colleague who had similar topic with me. Our work was so good it was published in a journal by our supervisor.

Funny guy. Like if "Ex-APC Spokesman" is not added to his name, we won't know him. At least no one refers to Dino (and other defectors) as Ex APC senators.

the two major parties should present a candidate from SE anything other than that will make power remain in the north. as it is the turn of the South so also is the turn of the SE cus every other region in the south have produced a president but if tinubu and his cohort thinks otherwise then let north rule forever

I'm a bit lost here.. But the SE don't like the APC? So why do you want them to give the SE it's ticket in 2023? Why don't you want that of PDP since you've loyal for 24 years (by then) to the PDP?. Care to shade more light?

So I've had dealings with several tech sellers/dealers in this section in the past (laptops, camera, phones etc), and never had any real challenge besides those beyond their control ( like cancelled/delayed flight) but I can tell you non of these guys come close to Ifedith in customer service.

Maybe he makes the effort but I think (from interacting and meeting with him) he's just a nice fella. So you might wanna speak with him about your next tech/gadget transaction.

Ifedith, Happy "BUY" day btw... More blessings on your hustles

“Rebranded and repositioned PDP does not only have Nigeria collective interest but South East in particular. Am convinced that as a party built on fairness and equity, South East surely stands a better chance to take her equity share in Nigeria project come 2023, God’s willing.”

You believe and make bold to say the SE interest will be served under the PDP, but you're angry at Fash for saying the SW interest will be served in APC come 2023. Such hypocrisy.

Family / Re: Balenciaga, Panties, Bra, Demanded As Bride Price From Groom In Ebonyi State by Nitefury: 11:01am On Oct 24, 2018
Seahawk:

He was obviously a jerk. That had nothing to do with a bride price he paid 10years ago. At worst, he could have refused to pay.

Before y’all jump on my neck, I’m also against bride price payment. It’s a masculine tradition that is demeaning to women. That’s why the biggest fight against abolishing bride price comes from men. Even though they claim to hate it, they like the idea of saying they paid for their women. That’s why they do it and act like you owe them forever.

We both know the highlighted is a lie. It isn't men that ask their partners questions like "When I'm I going to see your people or When I'm I going to pay your bride price"

Left for most guys, if anything at all, it should just be symbolic. That's why guys make statement like "I wan carry wine go give your Papa".

Celebrities / Re: K1, Obesere At War Over Ambode by Nitefury: 12:56am On Sep 20, 2018
Is Ambode afraid of Direct primaries? Why does he want to be imposed on the party again? He should go and test his popularity amongst party members in a fair contest.

We say no more imposition of candidates (by Tinubu)

We say no more "godfatherism"

We say yes to Direct primaries

As for Obesere, just as he says it's within his rights to support any politician (albeit privately), it is also within Ayinde's rights to support (or withdraw his support for) any politician at any time. And if he chooses to do that openly, it's non of Obesere's business. After all, many PMB's supporters have now withdrawn their support for him and insult him daily, yet nobody vilifies them or call them betrayers.
