Like someone rightly said, these are officers from the three northern zones. And they usually have common names. Don't be surprise even with those names, you can find at least 5 Christian amongst them.

But looking at it from your point of view guys, I think the blame is on southerners themselves. How you might ask. I'll explain with two scenarios

1. I am from kebbi state (the north) and I want to join the army,air force,police.. A senior officer is from the next village, he understands I'm interested (or maybe not), and he quickly facilitates my entry into the force.. Just because we speak the same language or are from the same place.

2. I am from Ogoja, Cross River State (southern Nigeria), my towns man is a senior officer in the force.. whenever he comes home for holidays/functions, the whole youths in the community besiege his residence. He gives us "chop money" and we sing his praises.

The graduate amongst us begs for jobs (placement) in the force. Because he doesn't want us reaching his status or stop coming to greet him and sing his praises, he either starts giving us excuses of how things are difficult in the HQ or he demands N250,000 and above from our parents who have less than N2500 in their bank accounts.

Going by you guys logic of tribalism/nepotism, my point is the northerners always use tribalism to the benefit of their region, while southerners are busy thinking of their immediate family..

Last year a friend applied for his housemanship at the National Hospital Abuja, more than ⅔ of doctors from the north were taken..

I was beginning to wonder if no one else saw nothing special or revealing here.. This is just a chat between two former lovers/partners.. One of the reasons you shouldn't go snooping around your partners phone.. I just hope this didn't cause any friction in her relationship with her husband
