Interesting to see A40 and Raumdeuter doing a 360 to term Pep's tenure a failure.
Declaration wey me don make even before Fraudiola named the starting 11 for his first match. |

Kaycee7: Let me rephrase my post. Count from 1 to 7 kingdoms. Multiply 7 by at least 500,000 and tell me Arya will be the most dangerous individual in 7 x 500,000. Nobody can be the most dangerous individual in those statistics. There will always be one more dangerous than you, another more dangerous than them and so on. She may be the most dangerous person in King's Landing or the North but definitely not the 7 kingdoms combined. Semantics... I did not declare her the most dangerous - I merely postulated that she could be - huge difference. |

Kaycee7: It's a movie thing. In the books, when she entered Drogo's pyre, she emerged unburnt but she was bald. HBO probably decided that a bald Emilia Clarke wouldn't be all that sexy so they extended her fire immunity to her hair. Makes more sense though. Hair is, afterall, a natural part of the body. Abeg make dem nor dey show us those oddly-shaped breästs. |

With the badass training she's getting, Arya Stark could very possibly end up being the most dangerous individual in the whole Seven Kingdoms! |

nateevs: You knew a day like this will come when everyone uses the prevailing circumstance to claim they were right on a previously stated point. There are two points to note.
1. Any points made without consideration of empirical evidence of a long term period is evidently just "knee-jerk reaction. 2. Anybody claiming "I was right" over a Chelsea V Everton has probably never watched Chelsea V Everton many times. Bros this is football, an emotion-laden game. Sieve what you take seriously from heat-of-the-moment comments. |

sephia: Mou had almost 6 seasons. Ancellotti had just 2. 3 in 5 and a half is better than 1 in 2. I know this sounds like splitting hairs, giving the varying and small sample sizes, but it is what it is. Ancelotti is even roundly derided for his abysmal league record sef. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by nitlad: 6:00pm On Dec 17, 2015 |
sephia: First time out he was a god. Brought glory to the club. But then, we still managed to win trophies without him and without the drama and ego and so I came to realize it wasn't necessarily about him but about the money available to get only the best players and the philosophy of Roman that failure wasn't an option. In other words, I wasn't keen about him coming a second time. Too much drama and ego, not my thing. We appreciate all he did for us but his ego was against him this time out. nateevs: I don't loathe him. I totally dislike his methods. And I always go on record saying his ways cannot be sustained and that his sacking is almost always inevitable unless he leaves voluntarily after 2 seasons. By his second year, he is already having fights with everyone around and going from the most loved and respected by his players to having a toxic dressing room and looking a proper villain in their eyes.
3rd season on, it is happening again.
I thank him for contributing "in no small measure" to the club's successes in the recent years but I thank the £500m spent by Roman in the same period, even more. In pillorying Mourinho, you guys are inadvertently lending credence to the traducer's voice when he says we "bought our way to success". Issokay. |

E pain me shar.
I just hope we finish strongly, because that's the only way this decision can make sense in retrospect.
By the way, Nateevs and BlueDiva,
You guys have never taken to Mourinho; with the benefit of hindsight, seeing the total package that he brings, would you guys have touched him with a long pole from the outset?
If I didn't know any better, I'd be questioning how you can loathe someone who has contributed in no small measure to the recent successes of the Club this much. |

I believe Ibime don already expatiate this matter...
Those wen get big Arenas abroad struggle to fill them even with cheapay tickets.
Tickets prices for England na die.
Chelsea with small capacity rake in a tidy sum from match-day revenue already. We rival Bayern, dwarf Dortmund even with their Mecca-like crowds.
60,000 don do for now abeg.
With that, we will nestle in the top 3 match-day earners. |
