In this day and age, how can an elite coach be so tactically rigid? Is 4-2-3-1 the only way to play football? A few tweaks in formation will not make us any worse than we already are.

I don't necessarily believe we must get another "man of steel" to partner Matic for us to be able to compete. Tactical and proper coaching would solve a lot of our midfield problems. Just give Matic strict instructions to sit and not get attracted to happenings up-field.

Poor coaching and tactics aside there are also some players not firing on all cylinders.
