Chibuking81: From my research, I personally discover that, every last week and first week of every month, the price of stock always move high, this is because fresh money from the workers salary will enter market, as a result of this, there will be increase in demand and lower supply, but at second/third week market become dull and stable, some will sale their stock during this period to solve their problem, and this forces the price down, because there will be few buyer to compare to sellers. Therefore last/first week should be the best time to sell, while second/third week are the best time to buy.
You are on your own o!

Foreign guys are really enjoying our bond market, they dictate everything......for investors, buy 13.05, 14.20 etc coupon bonds at premium, enjoy your coupon payments, while you hold to maturity or sell when rates are DOWN, for you to make solid cash.
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by nitrogen(m): 8:37pm On Jul 22, 2014
Dexterax: Yeah, generally both asset classes are "risk substitutes"... so there's an a GENERAL inverse relationship btw them. Like I posted some weeks ago, some fund managers who believe they're smart are liquidating positions in stocks and packing into bonds & t-bills in droves.

Even if there should be any 'flight to safety', it makes more sense to me to park in illiquid, blue chips-mid cap stocks... I think this might be the state of play much later.
Yes, but you can actually lock your funds in now, you are guaranteed coupon payments which is fixed till maturity, current yields which seem not attactive will only determine consideration, buy now at this level(s) and be entitled to semi annual payments till maturity, if Emefiele decides to catch anyone unawares by lowering interest rate, it will just be for that person to sell at a lower yield, which is more money, that is if he/she wants to sell.

Because in that photo of the ladies wit D'Banj's mum are D'Banj's 2 sisters, their Aunty, Kayswitch's babymama, then Adama Indimi. Laila is reporting she may be D'Banj's true girlfriend o.

Seun: What rates can you get from FBN, MM and KGIF at the moment, after deducting withholding tax?
Dont think there is any withholding tax o, but if there is, then you are left with 11.88%, still cool.
