you wanted clarification between UK Education Provider and Overseas Higher Education Institution, if in the course of filling the form you find a place where they ask a question on who you paid accommodation or any fees to then you should choose UK Education Provider, i don't know what the form is like now but i do know know last year there was no HEI, it was just either the UK Education Provider or Overseas Higher Education Institution.

UK education provider is the UK university, college etc,u will be studying at basically should be a wholly registered UK university, while overseas higher education institution also is a UK university, college, etc but is not wholly a UK institution example is if there is a university of lagos london campus then it's regarded as overseas higher education provider. However, in my CAS, my school referred to itself as HEI. and it fully meets ur definitn of UK education provider and not that of HEI, as explained by you.

This 30days thingy about travelling after Visa is obtained. I just checked the UKCISA site, it seems if one does not travel, u'll have to reapply for another 30-day vignette AND NOT anoda visa application.

In addition, it appears you already have a CAS which is yet to be updated to reflect your recent payment. Request for an updated CAS, this should not take more than a week as soon as your payment is confirmed. Meanwhile, you may proceed to fill your visa application form online at visa4uk but [b]do not confirm [/b]your application yet! Once you have your CAS, include your payment details and then confirm application.
Booking visa appointment is subject to seat availability at different centres, this could be 1 week on the average.

2. You cannot apply for visa without your school CAS. You need the information in the CAS

2. There is a situation. A part-pymt was made to school IRO tuition fee. This is yet to be acknowledged by the school. Hopefully this should be done before end of this week. Meanwhile I'll like to commence ma visa application process. Can I go ahead (and hope that before I'm invited for interview my CAS is accordingly updated to reflect this payment) or should I wait for the school to acknowledge and update my CAS before I commence visa application? You can ask your school if they would give you a sponsorship letter or include it in your CAS. Then which route you should go through

Just wondering... wat exchange rate is used d by the UK Visa Office when converting funds in your account to school fees/living costs. Want to believe it's CBN rate, but then..no harm in asking.

Also, on the IHS portal..under Visa type.. I saw Tier 4 (General) and Tier4 (General)(Sponsored)... Let's say ALL your living costs is being fully paid for by the school, while you just pay for your tuition, under which category would the applicant fall?

Please I need a little clarification on uk study visa application as per the Acct statement thingy that needs to show evidence of capacity to pay school fees and living costs for program duration. The 28 day period that I need to have ds money in ma account, is it up until when I pay for my visa application fee or when I am invited for interview.

Infact, I thought I was the only one o. Yours is still early nah...lol. I made a purchase since Sep 18th. Took like several days for them to process the order and more than a week for items to get to them from the merchant. they shipped some of the items since Oct 1st and the remaining Oct 6th. Today is Oct 17th, I am yet to get my goods.

I've written several mails to them. no response. To say I'm dissapointed and unhappy with their service would be an understatement. Anyways, I know people who have used them before and got their goods ontime.

I think they are having expansion challenges.

Funny thing is I ordered some goods using CHinox days after the one from mallforafrica. I received those goods over a week ago!

If mallforafrica is reading this, I really do hope they tidy up whatsoever is causing this delay, cos the concept you guys have is a cool one.

I discovered this morng dt once ur BB subscription expires on etisalat network, they automatically start charging you per kb of download from your available balance,instead of the usual practice of cutting you off the internet.
This to me, is pure daylight robbery. I have a BB and a smartphone, which I use more. I only use the BB to ping. Called dr Customer Care and was told to deactivate all programs accessing d internet n i'm like hello, wat about the hidden programs. This is daylight robbery and i wld like anyone out there to find a way of calling d mgmt's attention to this. If I want to browse wit my BB, i'll subscribe, else they shld pls cut me off the internet!

yes...on starting, the engine, battery and engine oil light all come up b4 full ignition. once engine comes up, only the side airbag light comes up.

I use a Honda Accord (2000/2001) model. The car consumes fuel like water. The mechanics don't seem to know what to do as they keep suggesting different things everyday. I'm based in kaduna and would like an advise on what to do to get this fixed. I really need to. ( I buy full tank every week, just for inside town movement, basically from home to work and weekend run-arounds.)
