will post here too, for potential Gps users to get a grip,its quite easy, no special stuff to it.

assuming,u have not had a gps lock on your e90 at all, since u bot it, open it up,(communicator style) click on d gps icon and allow it several minutes to lock,this is because, d initial setup, take a while , but subsquently, it locks in 5-60 seconds(depending on if u have moved 500meters from last lock position), after it locks, note that u will see botht lat and long. values, with also some other parameters, do not adjust any of them, just watch d parameters, when it seems (in 5secs) that d lat and long. values aint moving, except for d oda parameters, open d options and click on save position, and name it where you're, eg. House.

now let me rush back to sumtin, after d initial lock, close d gps program, go to tools, settings,phone, position settings, and enable A-Gps, (this is another form of triangulation, which aids the main gps to lock 5secs most of d time, weda 500meters or not, also remember data charges apply, because u have to choose an access point for it to connect, with but d charges are like 2 to 5 naira, so not much.

now back,

after d savings as a landmark, say u have saved several areas. and you're in an area and u want to move from point a to point G, which u saved open d gps program again, open navigation, then from d options menu set u destination G, u will notice after d gps lock that, a compass with a directional arrow, would have come up, now u can use foot with the compass or car and gradually find yur way, when d stuff starts working properly u will not think of d exact shorter roads to use, the phone will think for u, but for now, u have to think a bit, but lagos has so many streets, so it will be very easy.

WORTHY OF NOTE, IS A PROGRAM CALLED MAPS ON YUR PHONE, OPEN D PROGRAM AND ALSO OPEN GPS, BUT FIRST ALLOW D GPS TO LOCK, THEN WITHOUT CLOSING D PROGRAM GO TO MAPS,You WILL NOTICE THAT MAPS WILL ALSO SHOW You NIGERIA, WITH AN ICON SHOWING You R IN LAGOS, NOW ZOOM INTO LAGOS, You WILL BE SUPRISED You WILL FIND THE MAJOR ROADS ON D MAP, AND SOME LANDMARKS ALREADY INPUTED FROM NOKIA,AND D GPS WORLD,EG, AIRPORT,ETC using that map, u can click on a landmark and tell it to direct u there, it will give u a basic compass navigational route to d area, with time we will have attained d levels London and Usa have attained( also remeber data charges apply)


as far as u can save yur landmarks on yur own, you're better off, than paying 83k to a company who wants to rip us off, instead if u want to enjoy excellent mapping, install this program for yur phone GOOGLE MAPS, u will see yur house even in d program, it names streets, but most times no numbers, also it names areas, its just d perfect mapping tool for nigeria pending when d mapit, will realize that directions cost like 50$ in Us, so except u wish to waste money, GOOGLE MAPS IS THE WAY TO GO, I USE IT PERFECTLY, NOKIA MAPS, IS JUST RESTING

point is dat dey aint started yet, i dont believe in hope but action, do u know when they stated, i hv been tabbing dem since last yr, so until i see it work, which it hasn't, i dont bother, what i do rather, i create my own landmarks with my gps device and train it for directions on my n95, and its working perfectly, but thats lot of work, but worth it, so as for me i have abuja major city mapped
