A general can't release an arrested person from a police station. He can make calls to those in power and an order could be passed to have such person released. But storming there to release the person with force is a punishable offence.

A soldier regardless of his rank can't storm a police station to release an arrested civilian let alone arresting police officers.
I've done this myself before, going to a station with two commissioned army personnel, they were bundled out of the station and I was left awed. I understand if they will be there to plead for settlement, but if they are there to use force. Lmao! Na that day you go no the kind power wey police carry for civil matters.

If I already have made my stance known to my woman which is absolutely the most important person in the picture and she is cool with my plans, the in-laws would have to start an eatery business with their cows.
My family would come, pay and fulfill every cultural and traditional rites which should be the most important things and thereafter stay out of the picture. I did a parlor wedding and was at loggerheads with my in-laws as well so this isn't blabbering, I was almost in his shoes. Although they didn't manipulatively go ahead to buy cows, I politely and respectfully made them know myself and my wife had no interest in pronounced ceremonies and it was not because of poor finances. We were doing well. We did not want it. If you won't respect our opinions and desires as the celebrants, I have no business gracing your planned ostentatious party. They could go ahead without us the couple and of course my family.
