Good response I must say. I have a qstn and it's quite important going onwards - Are we ever going to allow institutions to work in this nation without interference? Will the people's will ever matter? Just thinking out to enable me judge rightly. It seems there's an outright disregard for the masses. It's best we begin to educate our generations rightly so we do not stay hopeful for a change in this narrative Mccullum: 1 Like |

You wrote poetics and not facts. Elections present opportunities for people to choose their leaders but the Nigerian system is unhealthy for the sane. Having written eloquently, I must say, you tried avoiding the spotlight in other to avoid critics. My challenge with write ups like this is- What exactly do you represent? Is it a nation built my the people's will or devoided of it like we have presently? A nation that wants to move forward needs nothing much but will power. Why on earth should a state like Edo tilt towards an illiterate? How can the indigenous of a state like Edo tilt towards a joke? It's an insults to the collective brilliant minds we have. Is leadership in Nigeria always having to do with sabotaging the literate minds? Let's just take of the schools so we all roam the streets. There's nothing to learn in a system that deprived sanity. Few days ago NNPCL denied being the sole off taker to Dangote ref.? What sort of system do we want to run. Is it a system of making education a mockery or we truly want to build a nation? This is truly disturbing AsgardKing: 1 Like |

Is Edo no be Lagos not a slogan? Everybody uses ds slogan as it was erupted in the Last governorship election when Jagaban came to Benin with the intent to manipulate Edolites and INEC. Market women you say? You may need to redo your assessment I must say. The reason I'm emphasizing on you expressing the sector. Sector by sector in Edo state, I'm yet to see one without the imprints of his administration. You can also educate me as we all learn daily. Akpakomiza2: |

I have asked you before, which people regret voting for Obaseki? What sector are they in Edo state? Is it Nupeng or Health or Civil service or Agbero or where? Who are the people that are regretting? Stop talking vaguely. Let's discuss as educated persons. Which people and what sector do they belong to so others can learn? Akpakomiza2: |

I asked a simple question that requires an answer as it will make us discuss reality and not writing results behind the screen like mamhoud did in National. People always know who is best and if we can't get it right for our collectiveness, then we are doomed again. How long are we going to continue that way? ivandrag0n: |

Which of the people are tired of him? Where do they fall into? NURTW, EDO CIVIL SERVICE, NLC, MARKET UNION, AGBERO, EDSTMĂ, NUPENG, TUC, BUSINESS HOLDERS, APC, OLD PDP, NEW PDP, etc... Which one is tired? Where do they fall into in the society so we know we're to take it from? I will like to understand your point. ivandrag0n: |

You guys should stop replying him. He's waisting his time. The people know what's good for them. Hello should stick to posting APC and leave PDP alone in the state. Edo state can't go back to the old ways of doing things. They have moved on. The governor has done well and the people are happy with him. We don't want an illiterate. atiku4President: 2 Likes |

With no record of employment in 8yrs? Go to Civil service Commission, the files are open to the public for validation. Go and get information from the right places. No need to talk about Local govt. Staffs that dies due to 2yrs salaries owed and unpaid? God forbid!! Here's a man who came in clearing backlogs. I won't discuss with you on what's baseless. The facts are out there for you to consult and be abreast with the right information. The MOU has brought its dividends. Do your findings - Refineries, Solar plants, Alcohol extractive plants etc. The same MOU is what FG is looking for up and down with Qatari billionaires and Indian investors he had meetings with. If you don't know what's MOU, Go do your findings. This is a public forum, it's important we speak facts and educate the public. He's not perfect but far better than all we have seen since 99. Obaseki has done well in Edo state. We don't need liars anymore. A government that never experienced protest in Benin for the past 7years is government of the majority. There are more civilized n exposed persons that the thugs and arrogant men walking the streets of Benin. This govt has being more responsible than others. It's just like the govt of Ambrose Alli. Prioritizing education. Asue ighodali has no match in ethics n governance. Competence don't make noise. Let's be guided. It's our state. We need progress Wolexyoshi: 2 Likes |

Politics / Re: âmedicine After Deathâ, Obi Blasts INEC Over 2023 Election Report by Nlkay(m): 11:02pm On Feb 23 |
Let me say this without remorse, Nigerians should learn to go for the head of the INEC chairman who rigs an election because their future is dependent on it. When you declare an INEC chairman head wanted and you're able to get it, the judiciary will seat well. Assuming Mahmoud head is being played as a ball on the streets of Nigeria, the judiciary will never mess up anymore. This is my belief. The time has come for us to unite as we have no other country to call ours. I'm not from Britain and I can't be a citizen with a clause because I've resided there. My home and motherland remains Nigeria which is blessed in all ramifications. The citizens of this country must tell herself the truth without bias. Go for the head of whoever rigs an election as this will serve as a warning to others if your readiness. Even the Army is waiting for us rose up to our task. Nmezor 2 Likes |

Who do you want to put there. Is it an illiterate or who? This Edo state has witnessed tremendous growth and peace. Who do you want? Just a direct question and what is his capacity. Don't tell me Obaseki did this or that. Who do you want because I don't want a politician with no record of employment or business track record leading me? Emekaonline: |

You're very correct asking your followers to change first before the Leaders act right. I see how sensible you speak. I have nothing to exchange with you after this because it's clear you're loud, boastful and empty. It's a faceless forum so you really can't adjudge people's worth and abilities. Remain in your circle of thoughts and continue thinking it's about government blackmail as if there's something so good they are legislating over. U are benefitting from the rot and it's clear from your analyses. You went to school but that school didn't pass through you honestly. Have a lovely day. It's weekend for me. For your information, I'm not in lecturing but a liver of education. I'm an entrepreneur. You have little understanding about how things work in this country. RECs position given to the Academic personnel's I don't think is constitutional and can be changed by same political office holders if they can't get what they want. So you will realize that to change this nation would require all hands to be on deck or a civil response. Understand the Nigerian factor before coming publicly to speak. My point is simple, let the educational sector take it's rightful place along with health and security, then we will begin to see things fall in place with rule of law. Don't just speak because people are talking, understand the peculiarities involved before speaking. Thank you epainos: |
Education / Re: An Assistant Lecturer Salary In A Federal University by Nlkay(m): 10:43pm On Dec 22, 2023 |
Policy implementation has to do with political office holders and not academicians. For a known fact, our budget allocation has never had education has a priority and never has it being well funded. I speak from facts because I love education but not in the field. You can't be praising the west when yours is ill managed. You have an under educated society and still can figure out that your society has a problem at this stage of your life? Until the government pay our academicians well and it's armed forces so they don't rely on I'll gotten wealth, we are not ready. Let's be reasonable and commend their works. Every new government sinks the country down and we are crying foul when in some serious nation, there would have civil unrest everywhere. If you're still in Nigeria, continue to clap for the process killing you and your future children. epainos: 1 Like |

Go back to UNESCO report in 2015. We have the best brains. We lack policy implementation. This is key to a national turn around. Education is under funded. Every serious nation funds it's health and educational sector the largest. We are not ready. Let's keep clapping for APC and PDP. Your children will ask you questions you can't answer. Time shall tell.... epainos: |
Education / Re: An Assistant Lecturer Salary In A Federal University by Nlkay(m): 12:06pm On Dec 22, 2023 |
Educational funding and Investment doesn't yield result the way you think. From available facts, those funds you hear don't trickle down to the institutions. This guy's need to be well paid so they can focus. We can't get it right in Africa this way. We will keep rigmarolling. We need to wake up. Americans don't joke with their educational sector. Research grants didn't pay out even in the first century. Let's wake up epainos: |
