Chai, you fall my hand, no be small. This girl is probably younger than your own daughter, less educated and less exposed. Yet, you are not defending her country's right to reject nuisance to her country! Nigeria was the place to be; well informed South Africans, Ghanaians and Blacks in Diaspora would tell you during Western Nigeria's First In Africa. Yes, Nigerians traveled out then but could not wait to get back home. You are comparing Nigerians to Asians that came to Nigeria to make a living when famine was devastating their countries. You rested on laurels worked for by Nigeria's Activists, bragging all over the world until you overstayed your welcome mats, establishing where you do not belong. Even worse, equating it to being civilized. If we have enough Nigerians or Africans like this girl to talk sense into our heads, Nigeria would have been a better place today. These are the same African countries that drove whites out bragging there are Nigerian professionals, Peace Keeping Force and Police to train their people. A few warned then that Nigerian exploiters are worse than whites. An educated man like you is defending failures, greed, aggrandization and foolish pride that became resentful at home and abroad. As a Nigerian, I am ashamed that a fellow African whose parents and grandparents fought and died for their country is here to tell Nigerians the truth. Whatever some South African told you had been said by Mandela and many times by their present radical leader. Nkrumah, Zik and Awolowo did not fight for South Africa so that Nigerians, Ghanaians or even Zimbabwens can go there and reap rewards while looting their own country blind or resting on the laurel of their Independence Activists. Then worship conspicuous money spenders aggrandizing themselves until the laurels of past Activists ran dry. Note and listen for the umpteen time. No country, not even the United States rely on on electronic transmission alone, another AI. VOTES must be backed by physical ballots and so kept for years. Now you can see why Nigeria kept traitors away from sensitive positions after the Civil War until Obasanjo brought them in from the dog house. There is a difference that gullible people cannot understand between the two. Most Independent countries were liberated by freedom fighters some of whom died in their struggle. The USA is one, fought against the British. But now, reactionaries have taken over. The same way Germany was taken over by Hitler. Lekki Freedom Activists are not cowards like you that dressed like a woman and deserted their people only to come back and joined the same Party that killed many of their people. Thank God most Nigerians are still patriotic and never mastubate over the invasion of their own country. It is surprising that traitors want to rule the same country by force, coup or alliance accepting ceremonial head of state instead of Executive Head of State on a silver platter. If they cannot achieve their gullible servitude, to sell the country, the country must be destroyed. In the first place I could not believe that Gbajabiamila took that job from Tinubu. As a Speaker, it was below him. Gbaja can become the Lagos State Governor if he so wish. Tinubu is not a Lagosian and Gbaja has more influence than him in Lagos. Do not forget that Tinubu lost the fight with Fashola on Second Term. Forget Seyi. It is political malpractice for politicians and blatant impunity for money launderers. The miseducation of children into another culture has become useless or benefits to Africa! The only time most come home are on vacations, burials or may be weddings. The mothers of the children usually join them abroad as omugwo leaving the father alone at home. When we think about how we disapprove of Tinunu character voting against him in Osun and Lagos, we must also ask ourselves: apart from Yoruba leaders which other Nigerian leaders have moved the country forward economically? The answer if we want to be sincere is other leaders brought their own people in to ravish Nigeria's wealth unlike Obasanjo that used every ethnic group to move Nigeria forward economically. So much was expected of Jonathan because of his background, he went back to parochial interest after the North and South elected him for first term. Lagos State Water Corporation may not supply water continuously but does on a continual basis to some areas. For example Surulere has water supply, so people pump into tanks when available. Some estates have their own water. The Water Treatment plant in Aja supply some estates but I think it has been down for some time. What I can't understand is when boreholes become an achievement. Boreholes close to the toilets within the same house may not be healthy unless treated. |

You wonder who loves Nigeria. If it is not businessmen hoarding food, it is retired Generals buying AK47 for poor Fulani to become terrorists and bandits. But their children are sent abroad to expensive schools draining our Foreign Reserve. Remember now, the Orkah coup complained about those who collected ten percent as bribes. A much better situation than we have now as militrician’s cronies collect 100 percent and more to secure the next contract. We become big spenders like rich children in a toy store locally and famously known as conspicuous spenders around the world. Nigerians are so proud of our token successful children overseas, we forget the majority who are equally talented but whose skills are wasted or underemployed abroad. Many professionals left well paying jobs abroad to come home and lecture in the universities or start their own business. More needed to transform Nigeria not less. Yet, stalled educated Nigerians abroad cannot use all their talents to develop Nigeria at home. So, we beat our chests out loud as if Asians are not accomplishing more than us outside and reducing poverty at home. One of the Niger Delta activists that used the genuine suffering of his people to collect ransome. He now displayed his beautiful house and cars on social media while his people are poorer than ever in debilitated environmental communities. The 3 leading Presidential candidates reflect decadence. Nigerians in Diaspora must stop complaining about home if they cannot fix the problems. If you leave terrorists and bandits in charge, it will be sheer hypocrisy to complain that they ruin your country. If you do not like how it is run. Form a quorum with those sacrificing and getting arrested daily for contesting and running for election. What do you expect if you get stunted abroad leaving vagabonds to rule? |
