Why are we like this, what donation, from personal moni? Won fi owo Abu se Abu lalejo. |
Is the director of Gas Analytics and Solutions Limited, Shuaibu Bello, Igbo too? Make them the leader of anything, they claim credit for everything. KEVIND: femisplash: Truthshscrazy:Why are they rushing to claim credit even for rising of the sun. Lack of accomplishments is a disease. |
There we go again, Ndi-Igbo the most clannish people in the world are playing victims again. Obasanjo cabinet full of Igbo. They called him the most detribalized Nigerian then. Ebele Jonathan had exclusive Igbo cabinet and Igbo in powerful positions outside cabinet. They called him Biafran then. They disowned him after he left office. Emefiele is Ika and not Igbo. So as far as they are concerned; a junior to others, because he is the real Igbo must be promoted above those he met in senior positions. Una nor dey taya? Nightwolf1: |
Thanks for the info. You would think Obiora is the most senior and cheated because he is Igbo. Most people including moi, do not want to accept that computer Engineering has taken over the world. The rest of us are half illiterates without computer Engineering training. The guy they called engineer was in charge of computer training in previous banks and at Central Bank. His experience combined with banking and MBA is adequate for the position. No matter your training in other fields, without computer Engineering, you are handicapped. Gr8amechi: |
Jamaica is not included too. |
Those hard working and humble Igbo we used to know, alive or in their graves, will never forgive these rude overbearing Youths that took the tolerance and accommodation of their hosts for granted with impunity. |
I wonder what is going through the parents mind now. After taking care of them for all these years, they think say dem sabi pass their parents. As the tin dey pain me reach, If I catch am, I go first discipline am before I return am to her parents. May God helip us o. |
Nigerian Volunteer Fighters Required To Pay $1,000 For A Visa And Ticket When scores of Nigerian men converged on the Ukrainian Embassy in Abuja to declare their willingness to join the Ukrainian side in the war against Russia, they learned they would need $1,000. Some 115 young men pledged to join Ukraine in its struggle against Russia, at a time when Nigerians in Ukraine are trying to return home. The men who besieged the Ukraine Embassy in Nigeria’s capital in early March put down their names in a register provided by the embassy. https://www.zenger.news/2022/03/09/ukraine-nigerian-volunteer-fighters-required-to-pay-1000-for-a-visa-and-ticket/ |

It is really sad that some people will never give up. Even those of us that do not like Tinubu accept that he won free and fair after losing his home State and adopted State. Give up and give the devil his due. The criticism of every move Tinubu makes is nauseating. |
You got that right! Ibadan, the only CIVILIZED place you live and work without thinking you are going to get fired before the end of the day because of your race, ethnic group, tribe or the shade of your skin. marlow1962: |
If you want PICTURES: https://www.nairaland.com/4116083/beautiful-pictures-ibadan-city Like I stated before, this is not about building or edifice you can find in any city. Pictures do not display the Economic, Social, Educational or Cultural systems that made this Ancient City the capital of civilization where everyone from all over the world feel comfortable and secured than any place in Africa. You are Welcomed as long as you know your place and respect culture. Do you want to know how many heads of States received treatment at their teaching hospitals, how many professors from Africa and beyond stayed put and refused to leave, how many big and small businesses stayed put etc. |
Look all cities look the same in pictures these days. This is a fact, not a project for me. Do you realize Ibadan is bigger than some states in Nigeria? When comparing a case like this, think about institution, culture and system making up the City. Economic, Social, Educational, Hospitals from health clinics to Teaching hospitals and then safety and security. A big civilized city is not just made up buildings. Take Oke Ado which I completely forgot for example. This is where many of the old money are located including Liberty Stadium, old secondary schools like Ibadan Grammar School, St. Ann, St. Theresa and many others. Ibadan, the producer of old clean money and movers of Africa. I have not been to Ibadan for ages and I am not from there! researcherdotcom: |
Abuja cannot compete with Oke Ado. |
Ibadan remains the most beautiful city of all times. Many people only see the different part of an elephant. The vast land mass of Ibadan, an ancient city, do not allow strangers to realize that the most beautiful cities in Africa can fit snugly into Ibadan. Put Abuja inside Ibadan, it cannot compete with Bodija. Put Lagos inside Ibadan, it cannot compete with Agodi. Put Cairo inside Ibadan it cannot compete with Bodija. I do not even know about the late developments in Ibadan. But it is better to keep those developments out of reach, otherwise the next chorus would be Go Ibadan Young Men Go Ibadan. Not Go West Young Men Go West. But distractors are only interested in the slum areas as if New York City does not have slums. But Nigeria would never send those pictures home. If Ibadan is divided into cities, no city in the world could compete. |
Ignoramus calm down jor. Ask those older than you how long you have been slaving for Fulani even when you had the opportunity to be Executive Prime Minister. You siddon for back seat in the slave quarter and hand it over to Tafawa Balewa. You wan hia Tory taylor89: |
What a shame. Proud hardworking people brainwashed into terrorism by power hungry political thugs. Reduced them to Boko Haram while their own children are schooling abroad like the rest of Nigeria's political class. Pity. |
Election has come decided and gone but not within a group that voted 95% for themselves and nobody else. We see vestiges of what brought the first Military Coup. None of the people killed came from them. Preferred Abacha to Abiola that was duly elected. Prefer Obasanjo, Northern choice to Falaye, West's choice. Nna, what do you guys have against those from the West? |
Obiedun:Can't wait for Bini meaning ![]() |
Unfortunately, you can be in love with your husband and the gateman at the same time, two sisters at the same time, two friends at the same time. On the kong run, one turns into infatuation while the other man or woman leaves you. The question is when does love turns into infactuation or when does infactuation turna to love. Time! |
Is this a blind spot or just ignorance as usual. Do you know this difference between Igbo killing Igbo and Fulani killing others? Yoruba killing Yoruba and Hausa killing Yoruba. Beromi killing Beromi and Kanuri killing Beromi. We spoke up when Boko Haram went from killing Christians to killing their own. |
Some people are just too incorrigible to reason with. We all cry out and even cooperate to fight outside invaders into our communities. This is Igbo killing Igbo daily as political deterrence to hold unto monolithic political views. So that 95% can become political clan. Where else in or outside Nigeria is that enforceable without reducing your population to the minimum? Baroda, stop killing your own people. Use your people to fight invaders. This is why Danjuma told people in the Northcentral to defend themselves. Your only problem here is that outsiders must not tell us to stop killing yourselves. If insiders are too scared to tell you because of jungle justice, others must. |
There are killings all over Nigeria for one reason or another. But political and vicious killings of Igbo by Igbo as deterrent must be looked into by Igbo Elders and Ohanaeze. People are afraid to go home, even on vacation. This was how Boko Haram started, attacking Churches first before graduating to killing Fulani and Hausa as deterrents. African lives means very little to Africans but we expect others to respect African lives outside. |
OneCandleAway:There are many Africans, apart from politicians as you rightly pointed out, that are trying all they can but not loud for fear of overwhelming them. One is Sir Mohammed Fathi Ahmed Ibrahim KCMG a Sudanese-British billionaire businessman. |
Wait O! So Gbadebo Chinedu don ress speaker for Abia fas fas |
As far as you know the first military coup d'etat against Democracy was in 2022! Funflipper: |
Whatever Nigerians remit home, politicians, businessmen and their cronies use trucks to carry Naira in exchange. Those crying they cannot wait to papa think everyone has enough to live on or send money home. When you get abroad (in Sudan), be begging the country you call all kinds of names to come and rescue you |
