I'm 25, Sir. A one time popular writer in the literature section and in 2022, I went full time into freelance writing specifically fictional and YouTube scripts. But lately, gigs have been almost non-existent. So, I delved into learning Devops and my laptop is messy, I got it around 2019 just for small task and writing. It can't code and I need to buy a few courses, pay for mentorship and use the rest to feed pending the months I'll be learning. Just 1M is enough to change the trajectory of my destiny.

2022, 2023 and 2024 were my prime years. Work was good, clients were coming in until the era of gig scarcity came in.. Before then, I had lost count of people I came through for; financially, job recommendations etc. But same people have ghosted. But just a number has been a blessing to me in this trying period. I've learnt lessons and when God lifts me up, Omoh, I'll lock up. Humans can be ungrateful.

Mine, it's been almost eleven years since i finished secondary school. Though, I did some certified courses, dropped out of AkSU because of my late mom's health, brushed up quite a number of advanced non tech skills. But it's been harsh.

Hoping to forward next year for a degree in Medical Radiography. I'm currently struggling to stay afloat with A level classes.

So, a friend of mine hired me to write a business proposal which he will be pitching to his Uncle and other potential investors. He's a make up artist looking at expanding his craft to touch other areas. Though, he gave me a skeletal frame work of what he intends to do.

He talked about adding spa services, skin care, Barbing and plaiting, photo studio etc. His budget for expansion is about 6 to 7Million (that's if he can find a willing investor but he's damn sure of getting some funds from his uncle).

So, I need help.

What should I target when preparing the proposal?

For those in the beauty industry, what do you think he could add up to what he has in mind? He wants to have a standard beauty studio. Note, his budget for shop is 30k per month so that should give you a knowledge of how big he intends the place to be.

Please, I'll be grateful for the help and tips on how to make the proposal feasible and solid enough.

Note, this my friend has been in the makeup industry for over seven years.

I have a very strong conviction that it does. Life has entirely been so rough ever since my uncle sold our family house and we moved into a two bedroom flat. From weird movements in the ceilings, to loosing my mom, to my entire freelance structure crashing. Hunger has been my best friend since the beginning of this year. There are times I go as long as a week drinking just water. Tried diversifying but nothing is working.

Omoh, I felt bliss and financial security where I lived before.
